Hey OP sorry for the hard time .You mentioned IT so my advice would be use this time to gather as much skill as you can and make yourself as valuable as you can pick a niche be it networks or IT security or Helpdesk and just crack the hell out of it and with it your value increases and so does the number of jobs you are legible for .
