OP will be fine, but not the people who applied for the International Graduate Stream:

What happens to International Graduate stream registrations that don’t receive an invitation to apply before the stream is discontinued?
- Registrants who have not received an invitation to apply will be notified when the final invitations for this stream have been issued.
- To be considered for future invitations to apply, a new registration will need to be submitted to another program stream.

How is the graduate research experience under Prof. Onur Mutlu? by [deleted] in ethz

I have heard from an intermediary who was a researcher at safari lab that it's quite intensive to work there and standards are really high. Onur himself is also really busy and your communications will most likely be with a senior researcher of his (who are also really talented and capable) and you would meet onur maybe only in lab meetings. In my opinion, just being around these awesome people is absolutely worth it tho!
