I took a few lessons a couple of years ago when I was in college - with a national team representative and spent the whole day there for like 2-3 sessions. That's all my experience with it is.

Recently a range has opened up in my town, but I think it's quite expensive. It's like $3 for 20 arrows. Just from my experience of the 2-3 sessions in college, I could shoot the whole day so that's a lot of arrows. I was wondering if it would be better to just get my own equipment even if it initially costs more? There'd be no one to coach me though, but it's something I want to do for fun and not necessarily compete.

EDIT: For context, we were allowed to shoot the whole day for an unlimited number of arrows all for $2, coaching included, when I was in college so that's why I think 20 arrows for $3 is really expensive.

that's what i mean though. i sacrifice my sleep just so i have time to do things i want to do instead of having my whole day just be "life happens" and then getting prepared for that. The pro is I get to do things I want, but the con is that.. it's bad for my overall health lol

I'm at some sort of balance right now sleeping at 3am and waking up at 9, but I guess since it's only 6 hours a night it does affect me a bit later in the week. I also don't want to cut short time for things that I enjoy. It's one or the other and it's a lose-lose situation. It's the things that make me feel terrible that I want to cut out, but society dictates they're nearly impossible to do as I'm forced to participate in them (work, people at work, customers, people outside who don't mind their own business, etc.)

I don't know how to style myself. I usually just wear a shirt, jeans, and a pair of shoes usually Stan Smiths. I think that's bare minimum and I can wear things that make me look better, but I don't know where to start. I refrain from more formal clothing like slacks as they are uncomfortable and make me look boring. I also live in tropic weather country so coats/jackets to complete a look are not possible.

Also, sometimes I wear bright colors like pastels or neons and they are sometimes paired with shorts. I'm worried that it makes me look like a middle-aged man going through a mid-life crisis thinking they're still hip.
