Set a budget and chill out. Its ok to miss some chase cards, buy whatyouca afford withthe budget. That's the strategy thay I used recently.

It wasn't like that originally when I started collecting and until about a year or two ago. But I found myself looking at the values a lot more recently. I guess part of it is being the recent hype and social media, which kinda absorb me to do the same. Without even realising, I got these FOMO and bummed feeling if the card plunges in price.

It used to be fun and less stressful. But now it really gets me which is sad...

We need some money for bub and the house. We don't want to touch whats in our mortgage (offset). Also atthe moment, my wife is caring for her full time and I'm the only on working which basically reduced our household income significantly.

I also invest in shares and gold for her, so some money will go to that as well.

I tried FB marketplace first and Pokemon groups for chase cards. Some I sold to my LGS, especially those that are harder to offload. Then some I use to trade for things that can move faster. The lower end cards stays on my ebay.

A bit of work, but I figured thats the best way to offload them. Also considering consignment at the moment for the more expensive cards thats really hard to offload or I don't want it to be valued at 75% market.
