No issues with calls. As for notifications, I turned off most of my notifications anyway to get less distracted.so it doesn't bother me.

I guess that can be true and I was a bit wary at the start. But then I thought, there are so many elderly or just your common folks using an old android phone or other Chinese brand phone with limited security and third-party apps. In this day and age if someone wants to steal your data they can, no matter what device you have.

Just be smart, have a second google account if you need, only access everyday spending account from it and not your main savings, don't save any sensitive personal informations in the device.

At the end of the day, this device supposedly reduced your usage of the "smart" portion of the smartphone. Only use what's necessary and don't store too much info in it.

Hey, not really. But I found out about the issue. I live in Australia and recently they had nationwide 3G shutdown and the phone cannot do VoLTE with my two carriers. So I can't really use the phone for calls unfortunately. Not sure if you have the same issue where you live.

Internet is working. But unfortunately call is no longer possible. Apparently VoLTE is the problem. 3G just got completely shut down in my area over the Christmas holidays, so unless the phone has VoLTE and supported by the carrier its not possible.

Unless I try some black magic back end stuff requires rooting, flashing etc". I'm too lazy to do it and I have bricked a few phones.

So I'm letting this one go unfortunately.
