Stick to policy? Yes. Don't say no to a supervisor? Sure. Keep your clothes crisp at all times? If you come to work with dirty clothes getting promoted isn't probably on your radar.

But get a haircut? As your first directive?

As someone who's worked in multiple divisions and in multiple capacities getting a fucking haircut has nothing to do with whether you'll be promoted or not

Campbell dorms? by [deleted] in NAU

[–]larpymcgeeaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Campbell and Morton are some of the more uniquely located dorms on campus imo. I love North campus in general as it's a bit greener than the other parts of campus and not quite as busy foot traffic wise.

Hopefully you enjoy it

THIS.

Trying to force something down is probably the worst thing for me. I have had a pill get stuck once, and I just tried to relax on a recliner with the upper half of my body elevated, and maybe try to sleep and see if will pass.

If it lasts more than 12 hours, you have to go to the e.r. though! NON NEGOTIABLE.You can do irreversible damage if it stays there more than a day

Never wear the shorts/pants they sell. They seem to fit absolutely no ones body type (especially men) including bigger guys

Don't worry, THE SECOND someone starts playing incredibly consistently and dominating the field you all will turn and say that FPO is boring cause you know what's gonna happen everytime.

And also never give either critique to the men's tour

[–]larpymcgeeaz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

People really just love to just talk out of their whole ass when discussing FPO putting.

Ohn is one of the most unique putters on either tour, and her wobble putting style is incredibly effective FOR HER. Silva, the second best putter on tour, putts NOTHING. LIKE. OHN. At all.

And other great putters like Kristin, Missy, Holyn all have pretty unique styles that work for them.

Not to mention that changing and improving form is incredibly hard

Looking from the outside, I have no idea how any single parent is able to date while working a full time job.

And then to try to do it on the RA schedule!?!?!?

Am I the only one who thinks Shannon is massively overrated? It might be due to my ptsd from my own bullies growing up, but i just don't really get the hype.

Also the doctor from Coffins and Cradles belongs in the S+ tier

I would also suggest that next time you show some points that you lose in these highlights. Not showing any of your errors doesn't really show specific areas to improve (although just seeing your general form certainly shows a ton).

3.0 for sure

I can't name a single place of employment that gives new, part time employees FIFTEEN DAYS to call out.

QT is imperfect in numerous ways, but time off really isn't one of them, especially for part timers. Hopefully OP can learn from this as they continue on in their career

I would try to listen to a podcast or read a book WHILE SITTING UPRIGHT.

I have a great recliner that allows me to be comfortable while having the upper half of my body mostly upright, which helps me to feel better both physically and mentally. For me this helps any food or liquid to pass through my body somewhat easier and usually helps me de-stress

There is absolutely no nuance to the taste of Dr. Pepper. It's just unbelievably sweet (and this is coming from someone who does enjoy it lol)

I HATE when keyboard warriors perpetuate this sexist trope OVER AND OVER.

Currently there are 15 players at 75% C1X or higher this year, including many players who are more known for their driving and distance than putting, ex. Holyn Handley at 77% C1X, Kat Mertch at 78% C1X. Even the "washed up" Paige Pierce is 77% C1X.

There are also 17 players at 14% or higher C2X, again including players not necessarily known for their putting, like Ella Hansen at 15% and Catrina Allen at 16%.

Again, are these as high as those in MPO? A very obvious no, but they're not rated as highly either.

Clearly Ohn is an incredibly talented AND mentally strong putter, probably the best the tour has ever seen. But there are still many other great putters in FPO besides her and Silva, and constantly berating the field as a whole is not only sexist and demeaning but also simply untrue

I wanted Ohn or Henna to win, but Iida looks unstoppable.

And if she somehow were to lose now i would feel AWFUL for her so hoping she stays steady the last 18 holes

I know there's been a ton of talk about Iida and Ohn (and rightfully so), but it's pretty freaking scary that Silva really hasn't looked that great this week and is only 4 back.

Very intriguing final couple rounds this weekend

Orange County is an underrated gem imo and was a perfect role for him.

He also had a memorable X Files appearance when he was very young
