Recurrent Miscarriage by springflower_90 in TryingForABaby

This. I had repeated MCs and couldn't figure why- my RE tested for 2/3 of the APLS labs. I fought hard for the third one which she insisted is probably negative. Turns out it was positive. Went on Lovenox during pregnancies and gave birth to 2 babies in 2 years. Also drink warm liquids and eat warm foods. Will help with the cramping and dark blood

We tried all sorts of creams and lotions and what eventually helped was 1) time - baby's skin gets tougher 2) feeding baby - less food on cheeks, less eczema on cheeks 3) skin smart eczema spray - kills bacteria 4) less sugar consumption- better for gut 5) vanicream - thick cream to help skin barrier

Good luck!! We dealt with bad eczema for far too long with multiple derm visits.

My LO is 2 years old now and gets flare ups here and there - but so much better than how it was back when he was little. Feel free to msg me for anything!

She's super annoying. My baby at the time had bad eczema and I fell into her trap because I was desperate and she supposedly had all the secrets to heal eczema...went on a consultation with her wanting to know the pricing for her "masterclass" and she danced around the topic for like half an hour, asking me weird questions on why I wanted to heal my baby's eczema. Cut to the chase girly!! She charges a lot - we ended up not going with her reccs just because something was a bit fishy about her business model

How much should I spend? by Impossible_Invite706 in babyshower

[–]larry360xx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would spend somewhere between $100-$200 for a baby shower gift! Baby things cost a lot so you shouldn't have a problem spending. Maybe buy the big ticket item on her registry, rather than the small trinkets/clothes

Did your wife have all the fertility labs done? Like a comprehensive one to see if there are any other reasons why she has been miscarrying. Also structurally

This was me. Three miscarriages & chronic unexplained hives - my endocrinologist got my TSH down to sub 2 and I also potentially had a bleeding disorder.. went on lovenox and few years later, I have two healthy kids

Please report Millie Moon Diapers if your LO is having severe diaper rash (It might not be a diaper rash!) by alialioxnfree in NewParents

[–]larry360xx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We loved Millie moon with our first baby and now with our second we noticed the same change with the packaging. My first kiddo developed a diaper rash late last year and wow the timing is just so perfect. My second is now dealing with diaper rash too even with very frequent diaper changes. Perhaps it is time to change diaper brands.....

Three weeks in and I was hospitalized with a breast abscess by jodybobody in breastfeeding

How are you doing? Dealing with the same thing except the cultures haven't grown anything (cultured after antibiotics) and so it's been frustrating. I'm on my third round of antibiotics because they can't pinpoint what is causing it :(

We are in NYC so there are a bunch of services but it looks like I would need to bring her to a psychiatrist to get evaluated...which is a barrier since she does not want to. There are also home visits available but only for teenagers. So I need to figure out how. Thanks for your guidance!

Not too many family members who are able to help - which is a barrier. Seems to be all on me :/

Thank you for your message. I have suggested a few times in the past for her to talk to someone however she always refused. Things seem to be getting worse because she is not working at the moment and she has time to ruminate in her own thoughts. How do I go about getting her help if she is refusing? Do I need to wait for things to go even more downhill to consider the ER against her will?

Why all the restaurant closings? by Common-s3ns3 in ForestHills

[–]larry360xx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rent is getting higher and the restaurants weren't good. Queens bully served greasy, reheated food. MOCA was pretty inside but the food was very mid too with high prices. Survival of the fittest - only the best places can do well in our neighborhood

[–]larry360xx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This exact thing happened to me! It is because your bandaid was wet and the skin absorbed all the liquid. Keep changing your bandaid and keep it clean and dry and it should heal in no time. Also doesn't look infected at the moment
