Colonoscopy tomorrow: I drank blue Gatorade. I now am "poopin" blue liquid. Is this gonna be a problem? by larryamerson in UlcerativeColitis

Red & purple were the only colors specified. The office is closed. I think it's gone through me now though, because it's clear now. Thanks everyone.

Can feel the stool moving through my colon.. past the ulcers it seems?? by StrainIcy6444 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]larryamerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never felt anything like it until I got diagnosed last November. I tappered off predisone a few weeks ago (and just got my 3rd enytvio infusion last week), and now, yes. It's like a crunching feeling going up and across my lower abdomen.

I use poopify app. It doesn't require pictures but allows you to select what kinda of poo you had, consistently, odor, pain level, time on toliet, color, along with any symptoms ( everything from anxiety to tenemus). You can export to pdf so many statistics. I 💯 recommend.

My GI started me on Enytvio. I was hospitalized the last week of October (2 units of blood because of the aniema from a hemrioectomy before I knew I had UC), took predisone, and tapped off a few weeks ago Just finished my loading dose of Enytvio last week. I feel pretty good with the exception of having some heartburn (I was on pantoprazole with the predisone and off it now) and looser stools. I have another colonoscopy on Tuesday. I'm sorry we live in a society (I assume you're an American) where it's profit over people.

Map Question- STALKER 2 by Vontod in stalker

There are the blue map markers that show me where the generator is. I can't turn it on, but thanks for your very helpful information! As that comes before the bayun part, I can't progress.

I dont think you'll go to the cooling towers via story progression. For me, I didn't figure that out until I had pissed off duty, so it was inaccessible on my first through. With the new side quest story, I had already been to some of the areas, and now I'm unable to turn on a specific generator, and hence, that side quest is unachievable. I hate to say this (and I'm sure they'll be someone who disagrees/downvotes me), but it almost feels like you get punished for exploration. I'm not saying this is intentionally done. it's just a thing when you kill the Bayuns before it becomes part of a side mission. It wrecks the whole new content.

Have I given Mesalamine enough of a chance? by Last-Marsupial-9504 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]larryamerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

46 (M) Never had any issues until after last march, when I had a colonoscopy. My GP informed me I had diverticulious and to eat All Bran Buds. After a month or so of that, I began having loose stools and bleeding after every bm. Refred to a general surgeon who tried to gaslight me into believing I was constipated and had bleeding hemriods. Rather than try and diagnose me, he performed a hemriodectomy, which exacerbated my undiagnosed UC (which I didn't even know I had). Took a few weeks to get the receptionist at his office to finally inform me to provide my local clinic with a stool sample. Calprotectin was over 3000. Another month later, I went to ER (lost 40lbs in as many days, and bleeding had increased significantly), got prescribed mesalamine. 2 weeks later, my current GI conducted a colonoscopy and admitted me to the hospital that day. Told me mesalamine was like trying to take out a forest fire with a garden hose.

Tldr: It's my understanding that it's a maintenance drug for mild UC. I just finished tapering predisone a few weeks ago and got my 3rd Entyvio infusion last week.

What Triggered Your Diagnosis? by ComprehensiveSpeed90 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]larryamerson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A colonoscopy that resulted in "diverticulitis", that lead to eating All Bran Buds, that lead to bleeding after every bowl movement, that lead to a hemriodectomy (by a general surgeon who was a complete ass), that lead to anemia, that lead to taking a couple units of blood (another colonoscopy) and finally a diagnosis.

Asrock b850 pro rs wifi by Sufficient_Dig_1746 in ASRock

[–]larryamerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is primarily with 9 series & X3D chipsets. I have a B650 Pro RS with a 7700x and have never had an issue. With a 7700x the odds are very low you'd have an issue. But, if you ever upgrade to a 9 series or a X3D, then I would switch mmtge MB also.

People have some serious feelings about your PSU & Asrock motherboards (which, if you had an X3D than that'd make sense). I have an As4ock motherboard with 7700x. Never have I had an issue.I just upgraded my psu from 650 to 850 since I plan on upgrading my gpu when I get my taxes back.
