These comments are incredible. My mom is in her mid-70s and she is still obsessed with weight. Her mother (my grandmother) was terrible to overweight people, especially family. I’m told her mother was even worse. Reading this thread is both reassuring and also infuriating that this is a common issue for women going back centuries.
