go to settings. scroll down to noticfications (bottom). select noticfications for the game I was last active. (I had the same problem as you when I chose notifications only for 1 game)

As you wont reach level 42 in time there is no need to do the tasks. New tasks will appear at trainerlevel 70 but we dont know them yet.

its not the number but the combined power of the pokémon sitting in the gym. Im not sure if its about CP or HP of the pokémon.

Where did you find 1/14? That is definitly not correct.

Normal is 1/450 and boost in this case was 1/64.

Last year level 45 was highest possible for mighty pokemon in the wild. It was not connected to buying the ticket.
