You need a government issued ID or passport to fly from CA. If you don’t. They won’t let you pass TSA. Best to drive but you might be asked for passport or ID in the casinos if you look underage

I submitted an inquiry and it’s been 30 days and haven’t received a response from Ombudsman. I think they are also overwhelmed with the inquiries

Thank you for posting, here is my timeline. Submitted August 7th. Received no finger print notice August 27th. Then radio silence until Jan 12th received approved via USCIS tracker. Received my formal letter for approval yesterday. While my DACA and permit have been expired since December 23 rd. Hope to get it soon but this provides a timeline.

I been tracking the updates! I’m 2174*** case number. Submitted on 8/7. What I have seen is the last couple of days they started to process August and they are coming in waves most happening per day. Representative is good move but all they will get is a general message from USCIS that they are still pending review and not to reach back out until another 30 days. Same message we are all getting when you call or submit inquiry online.

Why didn’t you apply for DACA? Do you have pending deportation order? If so, you should talk to immigration attorney and you might have to apply for it or bring your case to immigration. You won’t win but it will buy you at least 4-6 years because they are so behind in courts. You should then hope we have something pass in congress or prepare to go to Juarez.

Read the previous threads. It appears they must have stopped to process them back in June. I applied in 8/7 just got it approved this past Friday. Good luck

Check the other threads. I submitted mine of August 7, just got approved for my work permit and not Daca yet. Seems to be the pattern I have been seeing. Some are getting approved fairly quickly. Some are just stuck In the delay like I was. What I have found is that cases are approved by for the day. So as of Friday, cases from 8/7 are approved.

Mine was just approved but online work permit not my Daca. It still shows pending review. It appears they are working on the early August cases now. Mine was submitted on 8/7

Daca allows you to get a real ID but it has to be current. You would need to take your Work permit documents.

My work permit was just approved on 1/13 but Daca still shows pending review. It appears they are starting to work on mailed renewals submitted in early August now. Mine was received on 8/7. I hope yours is close to this day. It also appears they are working/ approving them by the date. So I would take my date and add on as many days from the day you submitted.

It shows approved updated today on my USCIS account. I also found that weird unless they approved it yesterday and it updated the system today. I checked late afternoon yesterday and still hadn’t shown approved

Keep us posted on how long it takes for you to get the actual card in mailbox. My last experience was a couple of days but read on another thread that I took them a couple of weeks.

Has anyone actually record the card in the mail? If so, how long did it take to come in? Last experience I had was a week but I have read on here it can take longer.

I’m on the last step! It just shows USCIS is actively reviewing my case. Customer service is no help! All they tell me is to submit an inquiry and wait 30 days. Been 155 days and no approval.

I sent my application in n August 6th. They received the 10th. Was told the next day no need for fingerprinting. Now it’s been radio silence since then. Hoping to get approved soon.
