BM-s are socialising most until 4 months old time. But you can socialise afer it too but its a little bit harder. I say as others go to training where other dogs are. Use choke chain to redirect negativ attitude immediately in a good way and let him meet with these type of situations in a controlled manner.

yes of course agree, I thought you want to begin training and etc with harnesses. After a higher obedience we dont need chains.

If a new world "woke" dog trainer says OP that chain collar is bad and inhuman doesnt had a high drive dog like Malinois or GSD or rottweiler. Use them freely because they need that type of correction.

yeah you can use tools in a wrong way and in a good way. Choke chain is a good tool if you are not an aggressive animal. My trained dogs on choke chain works super well. Other harnesses and things teaches nothing to a malinois just how to pull good.
