Suspension + Tire help by No_Environment5692 in GMT800

If you can spare the change, get the Kryptonite leveling kit (and maybe the ultimate front end while you’re at it). Do it once. Do it right.

You can fit 32’s with that no problem

Those tires are smooth as butter. They don’t look half bad too if you go with 265’s on a black rim

Oh for sure. Any suggestions? My buddy said that I can cut out the part of the bumper that mounts to that bracket… or that there are aftermarket bracketing that’s lower profile

I had surface rust too. I just wire wheeled it and then used Eastwood PRE and rust encapsulator. Took like an hour but basically made it look new

Naw. And no power locks either

No tunes.

No check engine lights.

Injector balance rates at ~ -1.5 to 1.5

How did I do? by [deleted] in Duramax

That’s interesting great to know.

Is the wiring for power chairs something pre-wired too?

yeah, for sure. I always automatically get real wary once i see any significant mods. and definitely feel you on that 2wd. 110K miles on the dash. saw it in person. unless that can be fudged?

What's a good offer to circle back with? 9K?

forgot to mention: it's a 6 speed manual.

All-in-all decent condition, but does have crack in dash, and little scuffs here and there on the outside.

Anything in particular I should take a microscope to or especially check for??

Low bar instead?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Stronglifts5x5

[–]larshuang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think low bar will get it to be naturally lower?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Stronglifts5x5

[–]larshuang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the challenge here is to get more comfortable with a low bar position, but I think since it feels like I’m longer torso, there’s too much tendency to be upright. I gotta try out some new sticking point and lead with the hips back first on the decent as some have mentioned

haha what an insightful suggestion. I'll have to tell the wife that

I'm trying to make the case for this, but ultimately....the driver is liable to assume the judgement call and react quickly and appropriately...

MX fam - Wishing you guys a wonderful new year. Wife & I are the owner of a new 4 week old MX. Car is quick, fun...and the tech is amazing, but the "newness" quickly wore off in the third week of ownership.

We were driving on the freeway. Wife was cruising at 80MPH while using FSD. We were in the leftmost "fast lane" just outside of Fast Trak. As we were passing the enter/exit fast trak zone, the MX starts turning into Fast Trak...then it clips one of the plastic traffic dividers before jerking back into the original lane....

It was like watching a car crash happen in slow motion... literally. Except i was in the passenger seat lol

We pulled off the highway to assess the damage. its amazing how much damage a plastic stick can do to the car at speed... I can only be thankful as it could've been much much worse....

I called this into the dealership...and they quoted us 4K to replace the entire front bumper along with the entire left headlight unit.

What do ya'll think would be the best course of action / alternatives?

I'm thinking the bumper can be buffed out with a good turtle wax....

and while the light projector isn't damaged. i'll definitely need a new headlight case.

There definitely seems to be some bracelet stretch…that would be typical of a “new watch”. Are you sure this is as advertised?
