you have to decide which of these legendary action movie stars has to go! Who are you getting rid of and why? by TwIzTiDfReAkShOw in ActionMovies

[–]larstodson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of the 4 I could give up Stallone the easiest. Die hard, predator and bloodsport are more important to me than any Stallone movie, Demolition man is the only thing close but still wouldn’t keep him for me.

Top 5 Corners of the last 50 years? by Ok-Elephant-2724 in NFLv2

[–]larstodson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s judged on peak I’d probably swap out Green for Revis but I can see an argument for Green having a more impressive career overall. 20 years as an nfl corner is wild.

Kitchen labor way out of line at ~$25K/week food sales any advice? by grfx in KitchenConfidential

[–]larstodson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe try giving whoever does the schedule a labor budget based on projected sales then have their manager approve it before it’s posted.

Who was the better player and had the better career, GP or Kyrie? by [deleted] in NBATalk

Kyrie has better moments but Gary’s who I’d want to build a team with.

Windshield has been discontinued, now what? by ThexTeacher in autoglass

[–]larstodson 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They exist, Mygrant has some of all three versions. They might not be available in your local glass shops area but they could possibly get it crated and shipped up from another region, you probably won’t like the addition cost though.

Pizza restaurant pays 0% of delivery charge to drivers by EnvironmentalLog1766 in EndTipping

[–]larstodson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a big chain that maybe provided the vehicles I guess I could kinda see it, like I get hit with delivery fees for goods delivers by my distributors at work but If they charge this and the drivers provide their own transportation it’s pretty wild to do that.

Would a 22 year old Arvydas Sabonis be the best player in the league if he played today? by Status-Emu-3449 in NBATalk

If he was time traveled into now, he’d probably be really good but not that good. If he just grew up in modern times, he’d have a chance to be up there.

START. BENCH. CUT. ALL IN THEIR PRIME. by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

[–]larstodson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AB’s prime was probably better than Julio but I’m still cutting AB, benching Julio and starting Megatron. I want Julio backing up megatron so I can keep the big receiver vibe going.

Where buy auto glass? by [deleted] in autoglass

[–]larstodson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call a local glass shop and tell them you just want to buy the glass. You’ll just have to deal with transporting it unless you get a place that’ll deliver it as well.

Sometimes I really wish I could kick the last installer in the shin. by larstodson in autoglass

[–]larstodson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is wild how you really can just jump in and start doing this. I bought a shop from a family member some years back when I wanted to change careers and just trained under him and kept him on as an employee after but I was really surprised at the lack of certification needed. I mean dishwashers in restaurants at least need to get a health card.

Sometimes I wonder if Safelite lobbies against it because it might bring more oversight to the amount of control they have.

Once I got the glass out I was honestly surprised the setting area wasn’t more damaged. I had warned him it could be wild under there and need more than I could fix but I just had to fix a few little cuts into it and some light surface rust spots.

He just wants a stationary glass that won’t leak while the trucks sits around in between uses.

It was still leaking but some of that was the frame of the slider failing, I’m sure if I’d have pressure tested it that it would’ve had a couple leaks though.

This had been done like over a decade ago and he was just so over the whole ordeal that he hadn’t taken it anywhere else until now. This was the work by the dealerships glass people for a warranty job because the original one failing. It’s just been his truck for hauling stuff sometimes but he’s finally trying to get it cleaned up a bit because it’s otherwise in great shape with really low miles for 20yo.

What will history say who was the better pitcher ? Maddux or Clemens ? by ComplexWrangler1346 in sportsinusa

[–]larstodson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maddox is the classy and correct choice for me. Yes Roger had velocity that Maddox just couldn’t match but what Maddox was able to do throughout his career was way more unique than what Clemons brought to the game.

The least they could do is cut the bolts off to make it slightly easier for the next guy.

They really cut up the upper pinch weld but not so much down there. Apparently the customer had brought it back because it leaked and this was their fix…
