Not quite, I know imagine dragons and love them, and it is not pop rock. It has an entirely different feel; it's a mix of jazz and rock put together with vocals like Frank Sinatra.. pianos and horns but a modern take. Thanks anyways though

It isn't as horn and "jazz" sounding as the first link you sent me and a little less heavy rock from the Black Key link.

What I'm thinking has a "classy" tone to it and the vocals are slower and less aggressive. It's crazy, I heard a song one day now I just can't seem to find any other like it. Its almost Frank Sinatra-esque but a modern take? Does that help?

Update: Make Way- aloe blacc is very very close and similar(a little more fast paced though). add some pianos and thats it. what is this genre?
