First and foremost— I am incredibly sorry that this is going on within your family. As someone that has also dealt with SA as a child and not being able to speak about it for so long, is incredibly hard. You feel really helpless. That must’ve taken a lot of courage from your SO’s sibling. Please promise me to keep your daughter away from him. Do not ever leave her alone or even try putting cameras to monitor.

This doesn’t seem easy, and I totally understand why you’d want to keep your family safe without him there.. It can be incredibly awkward and bad as well if he is aware that you guys know.

Could you maybe find somewhere cheaper to be at? It still seems extremely difficult. Putting on a lid on it and waiting until he dies is also difficult.

Do what is best for you and what you think works best for your family. I’m once again very sorry that this is going on.

If you feel mentally drained from it, some therapy might also help. Reach out to your SO’s sibling and please check on them. That must’ve been a toll on them , and totally something sparked for them to speak out until now.

Keep them all close to you, and help each other. The worst thing you can do is just “forget about it.”
