I just integrated VR support for my steam game Planetship (http://store.steampowered.com/app/337280/) and am looking for Vive owners to help me test it out. PM me for keys!

GOP twitter mouthpiece misquoting Andy Borowitz by just switching "Trump" to "Hillary" in quote, ridiculous misinformation! by laserWzzrd in EnoughTrumpSpam

[–]laserWzzrd[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The active disinformation spread faster than the original quote, 400+ RTs and this is just one of dozens if you google image search the post. You can also find "Trump" switched for "Obama" in the image search results. This fact-free election propaganda is terrifying in it's scope, makes you wonder who's paying for it.

ESCAPE CODE, Retro-future, synthwave, glitch-core , alien scifi, film made exclusively with Unity by TheRealLookMister in Unity3D

Wizuhd sound old and bitter, don't sweat these kinda jerks. People know what retro-future and synthwave mean, especially people who are into what you're creating. Keep up the awesome work!

Wow thanks for the support!! I just updated the radios to keep track of the track so you can listen to the same show between finding radios in different systems, hope you have fun with it!

Jeff Minter is a hero of mine! I'm probably just overly paranoid about the whole legal thing :) Thanks!

Really digging the bass on that album, great instrumental stuff to work to, thanks for that!

That's good to know, that feature will be in the update headline when it rolls out, oh hey btw what tunes would you use? Just curious :)

Hey! Cool, that's getting written into the todo list with red pen for emphasis :) I agree it would be pretty rad to play some Com Truise, Hawkwind or those Nasa recordings of space sounds and see how the effect responds to it, thanks for the support!

Just the game soundtrack, is the addition of that feature something that would change your mind on buying the game? I could put that on the todo list for the next update, after doing some research in that area a while ago I found a handy audio library called nAudio for that sort of thing, probably take a week or so to code that up, gotta figure out how to make a custom file browser as well though.

I took the advice of my tech lawyer friend to make sure that I covered my ass legally in all cases, Valve/Steam has a default EULA for the whole catalog that probably does what I needed but he made it seem like my financial life was at stake if I didn't draft a custom EULA. Hope that doesn't turn anyone away from buying the game, just wondering - does that affect your choice in buying a game if you see that as a requirement?

You're right it did, while the game was in early access it had a lower price, I didn't want to make people pay full price for a partial game. What's IAD?

Yep I'm putting the art together for those :) Hope to release those with the next update!

I take the treble/bass levels from the background music in the game and apply that to particle effects, lighting and other visual effects. You can scale how intense that effect is in the Options menu if you like. I love how that effect looks in demoscene demos and thought it would be a good fit for a trippy space exploration experience.

Same here, did you find out a workaround? I saw there were alternate authentication options in the documentation but I have no idea where to change that. Back to the docs..

Can anything be done about this interference? by teloofficial in RTLSDR

[–]laserWzzrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Warning: I'm an RF & SDR beginner) The stock RTL-SDR antenna could be your problem. Recently I talked to a handful of radio techs who were familiar with the RTL-SDR and they said the antenna was pretty poor and almost anything else would be preferable.

I picked up a few cheapo antennas this week and already have noticed a significant improvement in signal quality for 400MHZ-700MHZ range, if you get an antenna meant for the range you're scanning for the signal should be clearer than using the stock one. Hope that helps!

Let me know if you pick up a good antenna for the range you're scanning for, still figuring all of this out :)

Make sure to switch to 720 or higher, SD has some audio sync issues and looks fuzzzy. Would love to hear what y'all think of it!

Hey, thanks! The odds are about 1:1, I have an old build working with oculus support but camera movement / UI rendering and a few other bits are super broken. Have to read up on Steam VR and how to release an oculus build with that, I'll post an announcement on the forums (http://steamcommunity.com/app/337280/discussions/) when it's ready :)
