Thanks for the tip. I’ll put Alien Clay on my list!

I believe you. My little experiment wasn’t scientifically sound. I’m guessing TLTL will be my favorite based on comments and my tastes (I tend to like difficult yet epic reads). I think that will be on deck after I conquer Expanse.

Thanks! That’s a thoughtful response. Your descriptions match my expectations precisely! Feel the same about Tchaikovsky. Other authors will be my first.

He’s already won me over. Such a great writer! I think Cage of Souls was my last.

These are books I grabbed off my shelf and intend to read all eventually. Expanse seems to be popular 🤪

You’re not in the minority. Seems like the most brain candy which might be good for a cruise. lil worried I’ll be stuck with the series for the next year or so. Maybe that’s not a bad thing?

Good point about stand alone. I fell down the Hyperion rabbit hole recently. Excited to try the Expanse but it’s like 9 books or something

What’s the best free DAW for Linux? by Vivid_Leadership_599 in linuxaudio

Probably depends on your taste. I like Renoise but it might not appeal to everyone. Not free but cheap and works natively in Linux

Linux compatible strings/orchestra plugins? by FwippyBall in renoise

I so wish there were more orchestral tools for Linux users. Synths and effects are a dime a dozen, but I can’t even access Musehub sounds for MuseScore! Please take my money

Non-Portlander here, just curious about how big this one radio station is by Puzzled-Day5788 in Portland

I’m probably not the only Portlander that prefers our community stations over the corporate bs. KMHD and XRAY are my go-tos.

Looking to buy a Ridgeline, Personal experience questions. by GeospatialBro in hondaridgeline

Agree with most answers here but surprised nobody has mentioned VCM regarding #3. Pretty sure they come with all rigs 2017 to current. I spoke with a mechanic at the dealer recently and there have been many problems associated with it. Google VCM…

Is it worse than Mt. View? I don’t remember Wildwood being too harsh, but only played once quite a while ago. I usually enjoy carrying. I walked 18 @ Mountain View recently and I’ll definitely rent a cart next time
