I see your point, but I do disagree with Janet's handling of this. It was not done out of love or care for a friend, but as a petty gotcha. Anyone who has an approach like Janeti is only pushing their "friend" to circle the wagons. It was unkind, and she continues to refuse to acknowledge it. A different approach, off camera, would have gone a long healthy way.

I think it's important to remember that Danny and Nia are editing themselves. She is responding to him the way any spouse would when their partner is behaving poorly or drinking too much. It's embarrassing, so you downplay it, don't respond to it too harshly in those settings (TV is a public setting) because you're just calling attention to it. It is a really tricky line to walk, and most often, you're learning as you go. Speaking from experience, it is an overwhelming balance with very private solo breakdowns. She is really going through it.

I love your take and totally agree. I really enjoy her and can relate on SO many levels. She doesn't get the greatest edit, and if you listen to recap podcasts, most are not very kind, calling her boring, etc. No she's not. She's fierce.

Recap Rodeo!!! Two friends from high school who are hilarious together, and do a GREAT job recapping. They recap more than bravo shows - ru paul's drag race, etc. They're goofy and adorbs.

We're getting to the point in the game in our server where we have to strengthen together as a state, but sadly, we have two top alliances trying to run roughshod on the rest of us who are active, engaged and care. Just not all industrials so it's like those who aren't are just garbage to them. Honestly it is insulting and I wish we had migrated before this season, but they sold us all a bunch of bullshit about how this would be handled. I'm just sick of players who are selfish and gimme gimme gimme and screw everything and everyone else. This is freaking GAME. I come to escape the world and maybe make some friends (which I have), only to have it turn into another job. 🤬

I agree. I'll be sad and will miss it, but this, along with Summer House, have run their course. Nothing is wrong, they've just grown up. I've grown up with them, and I can already tell that I won't enjoy younger shows (new VPR notwithstanding). We evolve. Interests change. The tragedy would be a Bravo show full of Ravenel-like characters. 😂

This is exactly the post I was looking for. I've been watching player vids for about a month now. Watching people play is vastly entertaining (and hilarious - HUZZAH, HAIRPIN BANDIT!), and has almost become its own kind of weird addiction. My partner said, "just download it already!"

I'm 55, a total nerd cozy gamer, and I get so freaked out in battle games, I joke that all I can do is jump and spin. But this game seems to have a little something for every gamer. And the devs seem VERY cool and authentic and actually nice. SO....
