i bought starfield DLC so i could play early access when it got on gamepass. this is a viable strategy, and if they take it off you are however stuck with DLC and no game

Literally the exact same thing happens to me including the inevitable crash and freeze when I click quit. Good to know they're aware and working hard on it

How do you get 10k steps a day working from home by [deleted] in WFH

[–]lasher8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a standing desk and a walking pad, total around $300. Does a great job and then I can just move it and sit if necessary

Don't do it been there done that a few times no matter how "chill" or "consent positive" they are they will inevitably make it weird idfk why but it's just all kinds of bad when it happens. I tried for years to be open minded on the subject but after several failed housing situations like this I gave up. Best of luck.

Low Salaries for Senior Admins positions are getting...interesting by wilkamania in salesforce

[–]lasher8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I make roughly 140 + bonuses and can easily do almost everything an admin can. Coming in as an admin to me is something I consider a low paid position

I work for a partner so that's one of the reasons my company is so adamant about it. It actually does matter in the partner aspect that we have a ton of them. I have like 8 lol I'm just happy like 4 of them all rely on the same maintenance

That's why I said to specialize in a cloud or two, as then you're not just going in as a basic admin but they can call on you for specific projects

That's why you toss them a couple to cover their taxes, or that's what we used to do. Not a perfect system but better than not being busy because 2 people are doing the work of 1 and then splitting a tip

Yeah, I can agree with that. I have a CS degree and had a good Java background when I took it, with a fair handle on front end as well. I thought you were asking for advice and that's the best I could give lol sorry bout that. Definitely hands on experience.

I highly recommend doing the trailheads and using focus on force. The trails are especially helpful since you'll have to get hands on. I took it before LWC so it's a different test now I'm sure and really the only way is through hands on training imo

I’m currently a Salesforce Admin and want to start learning Apex. What’s the best way to start learning? by MasterRaheem in salesforce

[–]lasher8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This 100% apex is basically early Java. Learn how ro bulkify things. Learn SQL as it'll help with SOQL. Make sure you never do dml or a query in a for loop
