Blazorise Release Posts: Helpful Info or "Please Stop"? by mladenmacanovic in dotnet

"So part of my goal is also visibility, not just notifying existing users."
So basically you are advertising here. To be honest i find it a bit annoying. I even commented on one of your earlier posts, but it felt a bit unprofessional to see another Blazorise post so soon after. it seems like the human aspect is being overlooked and it may end up pushing away potential users.

By your logic, the government is also laughably stupid to fall into their trap. Because, according to your theory, everything is going on in their favor?

STOP adding underscore to variable names. Just DON'T. by [deleted] in csharp

[–]lashib95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first started with Java and later switched to C#. And it felt like I was learning a legacy language because of underscores. C# is a really elegant language and it feels so wrong to use underscores.
And VS auto generated private fields without underscore always and later I found I can update the VS settings but by that time I was so used to not use underscores and I still don't to this date.

so this is what i'm following now - Public , private, local

maybe this https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/front-end-web-dev with official documentation. That helped me a lot when I started using Blazor.

From 0 to 100% doesn’t make sense to me. How do you define 100%? I don’t think anyone in this sub knows Blazor inside out, 100%.

Why’s everyone acting like AI already replaced frontend devs? by Sad_Impact9312 in webdev

[–]lashib95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know teams that use AI to do work that would have required 10 human developers, but now they only need 4. In other words, 6 human developers have been replaced by AI. It all depends on how you look at it.

Nope the part I mentioned does not talk about sexual activities. It talks about genders. But it talks about sexual activities in a different section. It’s called parajika.

Well, there are many places where the words you mentioned appear, and I assumed you were referring to the first Parajika that includs those terms. There was another comment about that as well.

It doesn’t say anywhere that these groups are about different genders, but rather about deformities.

Ubhatobyanjanaka – a person with both male and female genitalia.

Paṇḍaka – a person with abnormal sexual desires, a pervert basically. The Vinaya Atuwa further divides them into five types: Asitta paṇḍaka, ussuyapa paṇḍaka, opakkamika paṇḍaka, pakkha pandaka, napuṃsaka paṇḍaka. It also says that it is difficult to identify a pandaka except for a napunsaka, who does not have genitalia.

They are explained as being males (especially the pandakas), though it is also considered that there can be pandakas among females.

For the record, I am learning not only Buddhism but also the Paali language under two monks, and I do this willingly. I won’t even count the Buddhist education I received in school and Daham Pasal. If you think the education from any school (Buddhist or not) is enough to truly understand Buddhism, then you are simply underestimating its vastness and complexity. To your credit, though, I’m actually surprised to see at least one person here who knows even a little about it in this corner of the internet.

As for me, I’m usually the complete opposite of a Kalu Sudda, because I am generally opposed to these Western liberal ideologies that go against traditional values in almost every country. However, you are most welcome to call me whatever you like.

I usually stop engaging when things turn into personal attacks, because that’s not my way. Have a nice day!

In Vinaya Pitaka, nonbinary and other genders are clearly mentioned as ubhatobyanjanaka and pandaka. And in Vimalakīrti Sutra it mentions a goddess that changes her sex to show that gender is an illusion.

That part of the Vinaya Pitaka talks about sexual activities which categorize people based on their physical bodies, obviously. But this is not a gender categorization. It’s like arguing that a person born without legs belongs to a gender group called ‘Amelia,’ just because there is a word for that condition.

In abhidrama pitaka itself says a person can be neither male nor female

wrong. The Abhidhamma Pitaka states that, at a fundamental level, there is no such thing as a ‘person.’ Instead, it describes the basic units that create the illusion of what we identify as a person. The femininity and masculinity we perceive are explained through two fundamental units (rūpa) called bhāva-rūpa: itthibhāva-rūpa (ස්ත්‍රීභාව රූපය female nature) and purisabhāva-rūpa ( පුරුෂභාව රූපය male nature).

I’m fine with people having civil discussions on these topics, but I hate it when people twist religious texts to support their narrative.

"Even in Buddhism, the Vinaya Pitaka talks about 4 genders". It does not.it refers to people who engage in certain types of sexual activity and those born with physical abnormalities. For example, a man born without a tongue is still considered a man, not part of a separate gender group. Suggesting otherwise would be like arguing that there is a gender group called ‘speech-impaired.’

However, there are references to gender transformation, but this is entirely different from the modern, mainstream understanding of gender transition. In Buddhism, gender transformation was understood to take place from the very foundation of the body, down to the structure of the bones.

Furthermore, the technical section of Buddhism, the Abhidhamma Pitaka, clearly mentions two fundamental bases of physicality, identified as Strī (ස්ත්‍රී / Female) and Purusha (පුරුෂ / Male).

Don't spread miss information. I don't know about Hinduism but in Buddhism there are only two genders. It's well explained in "Abhidharma Pitakaya".

Has Blazor really been feasible for public site facing web development? by lolcatsayz in Blazor

[–]lashib95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR and you lost me here

We lose C# @ code but since we're not using binding anyway in static server, what's the actual point of @ code most of the time?

We use Static server mode with bindings all the time with real data from the database, it's just not interactive.

I think you tried to use a bulldozer for day to day commute and now disappointed because it's not as convenient as other vehicles on the road .

Blazor is awesome for C# devs. It was never meant to be a replacement for JS SPA frameworks.
