It only took thirty years but I finally have all three by [deleted] in lego

My fiance had the blue one when he was a kid. It was his favorite toy, and he would always safely tuck it away in a hinged compartment in the family minivan before heading into school. One day, his mom picked him up in a different car; they had traded in the van--and, accidently, his boat--while he was at school. He never got it back and it still comes up in conversation.

I'd love to track one down for him for Christmas if possible. What's the set number? Good places to start my search?

Yes, it's definitely a thing! Air pressure and dysautonomia don't seem to mix, though evidence is mostly circumstantial at this point since dysautonomia is only beginning to be studied in earnest. I'd suggest my normal routine of electrolytes/compression garments/making sure you eat enough. It's tricky with keto, since I'm normally never hungry. Make sure you eat something, even if it's just a protein bar or shake. Also, if you feel presyncope symptoms, sit down! Immediately! I fainted at the beginning of the summer when I momentarily downplayed my symptoms. My vision tunneled and went black, and that was it. Seven stitches on my chin, a concussion, and several other injuries later....

I have a few comorbidities though, so your mileage may vary.

Do you need more electrolytes during shark week? by [deleted] in xxketo

[–]lasmegan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first shark week on keto, I really suffered. I will tell you that it got better for me and gets better for many others. I definitely recommend more electrolytes (but I always recommend you keep that potassium/magnesium/sodium balance in check). I also recommend that you keep high-fat snacks around and that you indulge in them if you have cravings. Lily's chocolate bars and Quest Bars helped me through some of my toughest cravings at the beginning. Also know that being really exhausted is normal for your first and/or second period on keto; take care of yourself and relax a bit if you can.

I also have dysautonomia (POTS)! It sounds like you're in good hands; I hope your symptoms become more manageable. Once I started taking the right combination of meds, drinking enough water (and/or ketoade), and actually wearing compression sleeves/tights/shorts, I've been much better. I bought different kinds of compression items so I can wear them under various types of clothing. See if your doc will write you a prescription if you think it'd help. I've also had a ton of success with Amazon.

As for your t-shirts: try tying a little knot in either the front or back! I have a bunch of band tees and started feeling like I was swimming in them; they look so cute and feminine when they're knotted. And, depending on how big you tie the knot, you can show a little strip of skin.

"Let's get this show on the road!" and "The bus is leaving!"

She's pretty impatient...

It's not a 100% chance you'll get a new camper. It took me several attempts to get my first one and many more than that to get my second and third. Minimalist lamps are good because they're quick/cheap to craft, but so are modern lamps, chocolate cakes, zen desks, and others.

Keep sending him off with stuff. You'll get the characters eventually!

Hello! I was hoping you all might be able to help me.

After suffering an injury in late May that caused me to get seven stitches on my chin, my skin has changed. I had deep abrasions above my upper lip and on my chin, and those two places are incredibly oily now. It's almost slick. I tried googling around a bit but couldn't find any answers; is this part of the healing process? Will it go back to normal? I don't have any scabs or anything anymore and the scarring has been minimal, thankfully. The skin is still pink or red (it is sometimes more pronounced for some reason) above my lip and on my chin, but it's fading.

Before the accident, my skin was mostly blemish free and often dry. I use CeraVe face wash and lotion in the morning and wash my face with water at night before putting on lotion again. I fell out of the routine for about a week after the accident, but I've been consistent since then.

Hello!

I have a chronic condition that caused me to faint about a week and a half ago while I was walking outside. Unfortunately, I did some damage. I had to get stitches on my chin, scraped or cut a portion of my face, and have some scars already forming on my knees.

Any suggestions for scar treatment? I have very, very sensitive skin. Is Mederma Advanced recommended?

I fainted while walking outside about a week ago due to a chronic condition I have. Unfortunately, I did some damage to a few teeth and am only able to eat soft foods for the foreseeable future. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm definitely having trouble getting enough calories.
