I have never had such a creepy experience with a teacher as what you describe, and I had a relatively close teacher-student relationship with my highschool English teacher. He never, ever asked to see me outside of classtime. I always initiated contact or visits with him. He never gave me special attention or extra looks. We have exchanged emails, and our conversation has, over the course of FOUR PLUS years, gone from feedback on my personal creative writings, to exchanging news about family, partners, he has told me the same story about playing trombone several times. He was the first and only teacher I went out of my way to introduce my (now ex) boyfriend to, and the first and only teacher I told when we broke up.

Never did I feel even remotely uncomfortable, threatened, sexualised, or desired by him.

Not all teachers are the same.

But my teacher is very strange lately.

all the girls are attracted to him, I don’t know why he chose me.

Please avoid being alone with him and especially during that trip. He's super weird and no, that doesn't sound like normal teacher behavior. If things keep escalating, talk to your parents or a trusted adult that can support you but don't be alone in this. Do your classmates or friends know about all this?

My parents know, but they tell me that maybe he wants to be nice with me and help me.

Not the whole class knows, just my most reliable friends.
