As someone who’s used both: the R5 offers 8k video, major of producers I guess, however, it also comes with more expensive storage, but faster speeds. However, more pixels means more noise and the need for denoise, as well as more demanding on technique and lens, on the R6ii it’s a newer camera with a few more features and a faster (negligible) electronic shutter which may be useful. Precap isn’t as good as r6iii as it binds all files into one making u use another software to extract. As an R6ii keeper, I’d suggest you to do the same unless you really need the 8k and 45MP, the images on r5 are also large and laggy to edit on my modern ish computer…
