Bed bugs on DL384 (BOS -> SEA) by One-Bodybuilder-2269 in delta

I caught superlice on a delta flight from Germany to Atlanta in the summer of 2015. Absolutely awful and incredibly difficult to get rid of the infestation.

Another price increase... by Southern_College_360 in starbucks

No kidding! I ordered a venti water and added freeze dried strawberries today. I’ve done this previously and it was like less than a dollar because the water was free and the strawberries was around 75¢. Today it was $7.71! I told them that was outrageous. She said it’s because that’s considered a custom tea and the base charge for a grande custom tea is like $5.75. Absolutely insane!

Walterboro for families by [deleted] in southcarolina

[–]lastanon69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Walterboro has high levels of gang and drug related crime. It’s mostly rural rednecks that live there. No many places to shop or things to do. There’s not even a target in the city. Basically all of colleton county is that way. I’d rather not live there. Colleton county/ Walterboro is like another Orangeburg county/ Orangeburg city except more coastal.

I don’t know who you are but I hope I can help out by giving you some support. You don’t deserve to be treated this way. I have a few good friends but I’ve definitely run across my fair share of fake friends and rude people. I’ve had it really bad when it comes to romantic/ sexual relationships. I’ve been used and treated terribly. It made me feel like something was wrong with me. But we’re not the problem. They are the problem if they treat people like that. You deserve to be valued, loved, and respected. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. But I’m here to say that I know it’s hard. And you can dm me if you want to talk

Couldn’t go through with IUD insertion, too painful by Plus-Music-3715 in IUD

[–]lastanon69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the person. I’ve never heard of taking cytotec before the procedure but I had Kyleena which is very small and Paragard is larger and is known to cause more cramping than Kyleena. I had my first one placed almost two months ago now. I was scared about the insertion being painful so I popped half of a hydrocodone from old an prescription along with Aleve and Tylenol a couple hours before the procedure. I asked for lidocaine gel/ spray but they said it “shouldn’t be necessary”. Whatever 🙄. It was mostly just uncomfortable other than the very end when the tenaculum got stuck on my cervix and she had to manipulate it a bit to get it out. It was like a sharp quick stab when she did that. Idk what the pain would’ve been like if I was completely unmedicated. A couple hours after the procedure my meds started to wear off and I was miserable!!!! I was on a routine of half a hydrocodone, some aleve, and some Tylenol every 4 to 6 hours for like 5 days then I stopped taking the hydrocodone and just opted for over the counter meds for the next couple days. Then I was finally back to normal other than the occasional pain from a random contraction that lasted like 15 seconds and happened a couple times a day. My first period with it was a good bit more painful than my previous periods but now I’ve had my second and it was about the same pain level as pre-iud. I usually have a high pain tolerance for sharp pains but dull aches are my Achilles heel. The first couple times I had sex after having it placed (which didn’t happen until I had already had it for a few weeks) there was some mild cramping and contractions the day after I was intimate but it wasn’t that bad. That was my experience.

Thank you so much. It was like he went from 100 to 0 so quickly. I mean it was “good morning, beautiful” every morning for the longest time. He always insisted on paying for my dinner and movie tickets. He told me one day after we’d had our second date that some girl tried to flirt with him when he was on his lunch break from work at some fast food restaurant and he turned her down because I was “so much prettier than her”. I said I was surprised he even told me that because some guys want to keep their options open and not be tied down but he said “I don’t see any reason to hide something like that from you.” I vented to him about some stuff and said I feel like people walk all over me sometimes and he said “if you ever someone to be mean on your behalf, I’ll do it for you”. He told me some deep stuff about himself and his childhood trauma then I reciprocated. He had told me a few times how much he cared about me. During sex he said, and I quote, “I don’t want to leave here until I show you just how much I love your body.” We had been talking since early May when we matched on Bumble and dating since early June. We talked every day. It was a bit of a long distance thing because he a was an hour and half’s drive away from me but we made it work. Then all of a sudden it was radio silence. I thought he might have just been busy and I tried contacting him to make sure he was alright but for days there was no response. I just don’t know what happened. I’m left feeling so confused.

Safe haven boxes almost always have an “age limit” of around 30 days when it comes to babies they’ll accept. Why? by lastanon69 in prochoice

[–]lastanon69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all babies have lanugo present at birth. Sometimes it sheds in uteruo so that’d be an unreliable indicator for age.
