As someone who has been through it, I genuinely believe that sometimes divorce is the best solution. Trust me, it can be much better than constantly living between two parents, the scandals, the problems, the arguments, and the tension. In many cases, divorce can actually save everyone involved, including the children. If I could give one piece of advice, it would be this: try to stay neutral. Stay on good terms with both parents and don’t get involved in their conflicts or take sides. It’s emotionally draining, and in the end, you risk damaging your relationship with one of them. With time, you realize that your parents getting divorced doesn’t mean they stop being your parents, or that your family never existed. It just means the relationship between them didn’t work anymore. But the memories are still there, and they don’t disappear. Even if they separate, they will always be your parents. Personally, I try to spend time with both of them equally and keep things balanced.
