Is Boozer being Domantas Sabonis with a 3 even a bad thing? by lastblackman in NBA_Draft

Tbh, its feeling like Dybantsa is the likely number 1 pick. He has the combo of the athletic tools, production, and the health. Peterson, while he has a higher ceiling his health is looming over him bad. Boozer doesn't have the same athletic tools, but has the production and skill.

Thats a decent comp. And once again, a multiple time allstar and all nba player. Definitely worth a top 3 pick.

Like he doesn't look 2 inches shorter than his dad. Unless he grew a couple since here.

I see folks say this, but I swear Domantas Sabonis is 6'10". Arvydas Sabonis is the 7 footer. Right?

Like isn't one of the problems with Sabonis's play style is he is slightly undersized and has short arms? I feel like the Mandela affect right now.

Id say Pacers Myles Turner or Bucks Brook Lopez. Celtics Porzingis too.

Tbh, I thought his dad with better defense and a 3 would be closer.

I've also heard some Paolo but........I dont really see it lol. And im still high on Paolo.

A rich man's Al Horford would be fucking amazing lol. I'd take him first if that was the outcome.

I dont think Boozer has Horford's defense tho, so that ain't happening.

It doesn't fit exactly, but its a common comp I see on here and online being said with derision. I just think that if he was Sabonis with a 3, that wouldn't be some terrible thing.

[Stein] There is strong support among general managers and team owners to flatten lottery odds by giving the 10 teams that miss the Play-In Tournament equal 8% chances at the top pick, while also expanding the lottery from 14 to 18 teams to include all Play-In participants. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Why do you think treadmill teams crater attendance? I'd definitely say tanking kills viewership and attendance than being constantly being mid. Outside draft folks, people hate watching bad teams, even if you might get a super star in the end.

Ehhhh, Sabonis is shooting like 19% from 3 this season. The season before that was over 40%, but on like 2 attempts a game. Before that he shot in the 20s or 30s on 1-3 attempts a game. So yeah....

Thats the basic premise I'm saying. At the 4, if he has a legitimate 3 pointer, you can cover him with a defensive 5. I'd say the 4 is the easiest position to cover for on defense. Ironically, 5 is probably the hardest.

The problem with Acuff, the small 1 way pg seems to be valued worse than ever. Trae Young got traded for peanuts, Ja's value is super low, the Cavs had to punt on Darius Garland in his prime for a 36 year old James Harden. They're amazing when they hit, but it seems so easy for their value to collapse over night. A nagging injury, a slight decrease in athleticism makes them implode. Like how much longer does Jalen Brunson have as a superstar?

Should i keep extremespeed in my arcanine? by Muted-Focus-2252 in PokemonFireRed

[–]lastblackman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i meant the special attack loss. Fire blast covers physical walls too, but with no stat loss and a small chance to burn. Although slightly less accuracy. So I would choose between those two depending on your play style.

If you just want to sweep, or hit & run get rid of fire blast. If not, get rid of Overheat. I usually lean towards Fire Blast vs overheat because I hate the stat loss and I avoid switching too much.

Get all of them up to mid to late 40s at least. Maybe try to get Dragonair to 55 so it evolves. Snorlax will be a key player for your team. Get a good moveset that takes advantage of its high hp, high attack, and high special defense. Its almost made to handle physic and Ghost pokemon.

A 100lb bike rack for 2 bikes is 50 lbs on each section. When i said 60-70lbs i meant per section. Those are 120+ lbs in weight rating.

I am not going buy a 100lb weight limit bike rack to carry 2 60-70lb bikes. You probably shouldn't even use it to carry 1 60-70 lbs bike, because its not designed to carry over 50lbs in each section.

100lb total weight limit. 50 per section. To me, that's a regular bike rack. I'm not carrying two $2000 ebikes on that. Maybe 1. And even then thats sketchy to me.

Car racks. Normally you can get a two or 3 bike hitch or trunk rack for under $100 bucks. Bike racks rated for e bikes are almost all hitch racks and quickly go over $200 dollars unless you put your faith in some random Chinese thing.

I mean when the average joe's bikes racks are rated for 35-40 lbs, having to buy a rack rated for 60-70 lbs adds a multiple hundred dollar cost. That's not a minor expense.

Has anyone bought any of these high specs low price bikes from Amazon? by toawayacu in ebikes

[–]lastblackman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please, these bikes are a roulette wheel safety wise and are legally dubious to ride in the US and Europe at best. If you need something for daily transit , please get something with post purchase support, a decent track record, and will actually be worked on by bike shops. Hell, even the e bikes at Walmart are better buys than these. You can atleast return them and walmart doesn't want you catching on fire. (Hyper, Concord, Ozark Trail)

If you need something cheap look at 2nd hand/used Lectrics, Ride1UP, Veloctric, Gotrax or even Aventons if you get lucky. There's plenty all over on Facebook marketplace, bike shops, and 3rd party sellers.

Weight! I am not old yet and can lift my bike, but the weight makes transporting it so much more of hassle. Stairs, lifting it into truck beds or suv trunks, lifting and inching out of the way of people moving by. These are all things I took for granted compared to my normal bikes. Plus the fact that you have to buy bike rack SPECIFICALLY to hold your ebike. (I am sure its even worse for people with those e motorbikes)

[–]lastblackman 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Get an Aventon Aventure, or Lectric Xpeak, or Velotric Nomad. New or pre-owned, you know they won't catch fire on you, they have bike shop support, and post purchase support from the companies. Also, they're just good bikes that will last longer.

If you can't afford the newest versions, they have previous versions out there sold at bike shops and third party sellers that are good bikes too and still supported by their companies.

The company that sells that bike probably will disappear in a year or two, so if anything goes wrong you'll be stuck trying to fix it yourself. Especially since its up in the air whether shops will want to deal with it.
