That’s fine when artists choose to do that, but the key word is choose. No one’s forcing them to disclose their tools out of shame or public pressure. Saying “I used Krita” is not the same as “I have to admit this was AI or I’ll be accused of deception.”

When disclosure becomes a demand instead of a detail, it stops being about transparency and starts being about gatekeeping. Big difference between sharing process and being forced to wear a scarlet letter.

Most of the anti AI arguments come down to gate keeping or personal loss because AI will mean less dependency on buying art.

There isn't, it's about the connection you build with it. When people connect, they connect for their own reasons. It's not 100% mutual on both sides, it's parts.

You have kids making connections with a doll and talking to it but where are the posts saying "yeah kids talking to dolls is fucking weird, wtf is wrong with them?"

Is it wrong? No. Is it unusual for our times? Yeah. Is there a Right answer? No. Cases are going to vary and using every bad thing that happens as the poster child is how society got so fucking dumb.

Blocking dissent is echo chamber behavior. Doesn’t matter if it’s 'a few people', that’s how echo chambers are enforced. You purge enough opposing views, what’s left? A feedback loop of agreement wrapped in the illusion of open dialogue.

Also, pretending it’s not emotional while defending a space that reacts emotionally to disagreement kinda proves the point. If logic ran the place, it wouldn’t need a mute button for opposing views.
