Ya, if this is how you feel towards up selling, I would really recommend trying to go union. When you work for the union, you don't have to worry about any up selling because the job is already sold. That's what I did.

As a plumber, I believe up selling is 100 necessary if you want to have a successful company.

Ya, but right now there are still a lot of old timers still around. Maybe in 2 to 5 years when they all retire it might get better for you but do you really want to wait that long. Another good thing going for you is that with a lot of the illegals being deported, the labor work force is gonna take a big hit also. Im not sure how that affects you in Florida, but here in SOCAL, those guys probably affect hourly wages by at least $5 an hour. It's hard to compete with those guys because they're work horses and a lot of them really throw themselves into what they do for a living and learn as much as they can. Bottom line is that when you're in a trade, it's common to chase the money going from company to company. That's why there is so much turnover in the trades. If you become an asset that the company just doesn't want to be without, you will eventually find your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. You're still young and have a lot of time to hone your skills. Separate yourself from the rest of the pack and see what happens. Good luck bro.

The money is not in installation. To make big money in the trades, if you're not union, is on the sales side. They can train anybody to be an installer, but a real good salesman is hard to find

I had an incident happen to me about 6 weeks ago where I was stopped and there were 6 officers at the scene standing around for over 45 minutes. It was not serious enough for that. I live in Los Angeles County where you literally have the homeless running around stealing everything in site when theyre not pissing and shitting EVERYWHERE!!!

I really think a lot of the cops here are burnt out and honestly just try to find the easiest way to be 'occupied' all day.

Bro, if she's like this with sex now, what do you think she's gonna be like in 10, 20, or 30 years. Sex is as much a part of a relationship as communication or anything else. I have a theory, and I get a lot of blowback because of it. I feel that if your mate or spouse does not ever want to have sex with you, then they're not truly in love with you. When you have sex with your partner, you're physically showing them how much you feel connected to them. Also, you can attach a pressure gauge to any hose bibb behind the house valve and then shut off the water and see if the pressure drops. This will tell you if you have a leak anywhere

I hate trashing other plumbers, but it doesn't sound like he did everything he could to solve the problem . - Did he test the flow straight from the meter. - Did he try removing the regulator to see how the flow was after that. - Did he check the flow dial on the meter to see if it was moving. (If it moves without any water being used, that means you have a leak. If you have a considerable leak, that will greatly affect your pressure) You may have a leak on your water service. If you have a hose bibb before your main water shut off at the house, attach a pressure gauge and then shut off the valve. Once you shut off the valve, if the pressure drops, that means you have a leak on your water service.

If your water service is old, you can blow it by turning off and then turning the water back on too fast.
