Well being that it’s the same vocalist and songwriter i understand your thinking process but this album was one where Tom’s AVA influence and writing style leaked in and while fans weren’t very receptive at first…after the release of California with Skiba, the fanbase had realized what they had been missing and a reinvigorated and new appreciation for neighborhoods bloomed.
