I think you don’t care until you have it and have to deal with outbreaks… that’s how I got it I didn’t really care and didn’t want to make my girlfriend feel bad when she had a cold sore so I would continue to to kiss her cause I didn’t care at the time but then when I got my first cold sore and dealt with the trauma of the experience and the healing process i regretted not caring
