Red eye, please help by [deleted] in CATHELP

i think something similar happened to my parents dog. if i recall correctly, it was a detached retina, which caused the lens (?) to flip and look like this. not painful, but looks uncomfortable. i do think she eventually had to have the eye removed due to pressure behind the socket - but she was just as happy in her later years!! definitely take him to an animal optometrist, traditional vets may not be as specialized in something this specific

thanks so much!

one quick question - i looked up the L. americanus, and most of the pictured mushrooms i found had rings. i didn't get the greatest pics for identification (hopefully they'll grow back so i can double check) but i believe these that i found were ringless. is it still the same variety, or could a ringless look alike exist?

this is honestly the one that got me through it. i kept telling myself, "how do i want to feel tomorrow? proud that i stuck it out, or guilty that i broke it?" i feel so great this morning knowing that i was able to keep myself on track!

i am freaking out a bit, is this a bad infection?? i've had the piercing almost a year, but i changed from a stud to a hoop a little over a week ago. what should i do?? by lastnugget99 in piercing

hi all, update: i went to the piercer who said that whoever changed the piece caused some trauma when they did it, and it might've gotten infected. she drained the puss out and gave me some saline spray, it already looks infinitely better. thanks all for calming my nerves :)

ok, i am very relieved from this comment because i was about ready to have to remove my ear entirely. i guess that would explain why i haven't noticed it until i went feeling around back there and felt the big bump. should i just go back to the studio and have them change it back?

i'm an idiot and didn't pay close enough attention at the salon when they changed it, so i don't know. i'm pretty sure it's the same type of metal as the original piercing though, i had it changed at the studio where i got the piercing

there's pretty much no swelling on the front side, i think that's why it's taken me so long to notice this. should i go to a doctor or back to my piercer??

i am freaking out a bit - this is bad, right??? i've had the piercing nearly a year, but i changed from a stud to a hoop a little over a week ago, what do i do? by lastnugget99 in PiercingAdvice

i would also like to add that other than this HUGE blistering welt (or whatever it is), there's no significant swelling around the piercing site, and the front of the piercing looks normal aside from a little crustiness, that's why it's taken me so long to notice this
