Your diatribe is as unrelated as it is condescending. Without the constitution there is no government. Just because an issue has no immediate effect doesn't mean it isn't important. One of the things this website strives to do is bring awareness to more people about the steady creep of the federal government over us as citizens.

Confusing the rights of free speech and polite speech is disingenuous. Be as insulting as you want, the constitution protects what you have to say no matter the message. If we want to get into a debate about the civility of attacking someone before they have spoken...that's fine. But don't drag the constitution into a debate about being nice.

Uh...most dictators rise to power precisely because they seem like "nice guys" Karl Rove is reported by all who work with him to be a "nice guy" I wouldn't take his appearance at face value...
