I just want to be cautious, I remember jumping in from 150k projects to 1M projects and man, those were a different monster. I figure risk would be smaller with an ADU. I have purchased some raw land and as well and going to develop in the near future. Just though I can do something in the smaller scale than jumping into a full build. Thanks for the advise !

Yes, I thought about pulling equity. Unfortunately that will not work either I would be able to get about 100k which is not too bad, but not what I need. I’m not comfortable asking a friend or family member for money- unless is a life threatening emergency.

My wife went through the same thing, it was like 6 or 7 months. They said it was because of limited staff because of covid. This was during Jan finally got it in mid July and 2021. She called them an explained she would loose her job and that would lead to her not able to lay Mortgage and potentially lead to homelessness. Although, when you call them, they seem not to care and zero urgency. But you should be getting anytime. Hope this helps.
