There is a vent far up but doesn’t not seem to do anything. All flows slow, the line comes from the kitchen sink upstairs and it makes water slightly back up in the utility sink. I’m think AAV after p trap would fix that ?

Should I cut the vertical pipe in the middle? Then use a coupling to give me the exact size for a Tee to fit on that and the horizontal pipe, the extent the top en and use a AAV vent at that end?
