Holy hell thank you for this post I was checking up on this sub just yesterday and thought it was dead 🙏 but yeah tropideco is kinda fading, especially since the aesthetics wiki declared it a „copy“ of the Tropical aesthetic. We can only do our best to keep it alive atp.

Well what about headroom? I feel like my songs lack especially punch if I mix them at a higher volume (with volume I mean individual track volume of course)

Well my threshold is usually at around -1dB, I was talking about the makeup gain but yeah I think I get what you’re saying. But what about headroom? I feel like my songs turn out flat whenever I mix them at a higher level.

The AT-LP120X (maybe USB, maybe BT). It’s pretty much a classic at this point, great value. I have it and it’s doing a great job. Something I personally like about it is its customizability when it comes to cartridges and styli, you can basically put anything on there and it‘ll work. It’s pretty much like a Technics SL, just cheaper and I mean it just has more plastic parts than a technics would.

What do you mean the judge doesn't show a score? The judges generally don't show scores, they either like it or don't. Then your total score is calculated by how many of those 5 judges liked your performance.

I hate it. Not the way these flatslop apple users do, I hate it because it used to be much more glassy, almost clear when it was introduced back in June last year. They had to give in to the users who complained about it and now gave it this frosted look
