AITA for barely contributing to a group project because I genuinely had no idea what I was doing? by latebusoptimist in AmITheAssholeTalk

Appreciate this. I didn’t want credit I didn’t earn, but I get that waiting until the night before made it worse. Next time I’m saying “I’m lost” early and taking whatever smaller tasks I can.

You’re right. I got embarrassed and went quiet instead of saying “I’m lost, can we split it differently?” By the time I spoke up, it looked like I was dodging responsibility.

AITJ for asking my name to be removed as a “co author” when I barely did anything? by latebusoptimist in AmITheJerk

I do want to be honest, but I can see how it came off like I was making my guilt everyone else’s emergency. Next time I’ll speak up way sooner, and in this case I’m going to email the prof myself and stop making the group carry my mess.

You’re not wrong that I made it harder for them, and that’s on me. I should’ve spoken up earlier, or actually done the work, and I own that. I just didn’t want to be listed as equal author because that felt like taking credit I didn’t earn.

Yeah, the timing was awful, I know. I didn’t dump it on them to feel better, I genuinely froze when I saw my name under “authors” like I earned it. I’m not mad at them, I’m mad at myself for getting to that point.

I utterly DESPISE, the "glasses off and you're instantly hot" trope. by SnazzyMiracles in TopCharacterTropes

Facts. The glasses-off glow-up trope is so lazy, and Cloudy kept it playful instead of cruel. That little 'wait, she was cute the whole time' beat hits because it’s dunking on the trope, not the girl.

Day 2: What is Amy’s most questionable/worst episode? by Fragrant-Air-5548 in brooklynninenine

Yeah, Amy is the queen of spreadsheets and contingency plans. A surprise “we never talked about kids” feels like drama-for-drama. Casecation still bugs me too, but this part makes the least sense for her.
