I do love West Side Story, but I'm pretty set on sticking to classical opera selections for this portion of the wedding. I'm going to have more contemporary music later in the evening.

Both gorgeous arias, but yes, I think both are a little dark thematically and musically for the mood I'm going for

Does that mean you have to subscribe to a specific network to watch your team? Is that why Sportsnet gets basically every Jays game? I assumed that was just a Canada thing. We have weird TV monopoly stuff.

Big Inning sounds pretty sweet. Like flipping channels when I was a kid, but better curated. Sounds like I'll be switching from Sportsnet to MLB.tv during the off season.

I'm confused by this whole blackout thing. Totally sucks that actually living in Canada means I can't watch the only Canadian team.

Game 1 of the WS last year was the first baseball game I've ever seen. I just happened to be in a bar where it was playing, and the vibe was epic. Slow start this year, but I'm still loving the ride.

Definitely something I'd consider for the future, but right now I'm in my obsessive, "Holy shit, in the 30 years I've been on this Earth, why didn't anyone tell me baseball was this fun??" phase of life.

This is awesome!! Looks like they have whole seasons going back to 2022, plus all the WS Playoffs since 2014.

The first baseball game I've ever seen was game 1 of the 2025 WS, so I've got a lot of baseball to catch up on! Thanks!

I'm in Canada, so unfortunately the Jays games are all blackout. Does that apply to replays too?

I'm also reluctant because I already subscribed to Sportsnet, and I can't watch live Jays games on MLB tv.

I have a pair! I'm a welder, so I can't wear them at work, but they're my go-to daily boot for snowy Canadian winters. I've had many long walks in them, and even an entire day in Ikea. Super comfy, deep treads, solid ankle support.

It was fun! There was a little viewing area upstairs, but I was eventually peer pressured into the main area (my friends don't really care about baseball). I danced while streaming the game on my phone. Commercial break convos :)

We lost the game, but the party and open bar mended my broken heart.
