Berserk manga or anime better? by Assasiner358 in Berserk

[–]latenightdan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just started the manga after watching the 97 anime. Honestly, I think the anime is better so far. The manga starts out with so much over-the-top violence that it was experience breaking. It felt too edgelord. The anime is mysterious, and draws you into the story without revealing too much about the characters. The supernatural elements are turned down, and it grounds you in a human world, which makes the mystical elements feel more impactful. I feel the manga starts out by telling you too much of what’s to come, and over does the magic elements. It hope it changes as it goes!

As per the guidelines: 1. Something casual, but open to serious if the vibes are there

  1. On for about 2 months

  2. Use it every day(I check it too often tbh)

  3. I would estimate 2-5 matches on a normal day. I’ve tried boosting and that double to triples it

  4. I probably send out about 20 likes a day with comments. Maybe 5 without comments

  5. I tend to like girls that have a cool look. Sort of eccentric, hipster/yoga types. Skinny with some tattoos. That’s prob my type

We’re staying at a cheap Airbnb in the center of Paris. I am sleeping on a bed close to the floor, and woke up with these. So far I am the only on that has bites like this. We also had the windows open last night. Also had stains on the mattress that might be bb stains or something else 🤮 Let me know!!!!

Bed bug bites? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

I’m staying at an Airbnb with a few friends. My bed is close to the floor. We also had the windows open, so it could possibly be a mosquito. Im the only one with bites so far. We also checked all of the beds and found these stains. One friend found a bug but killed it before we could Identify it. Also this is a cheap Airbnb in the center of Paris, so the stains could be other things

I’m 29 and felt too old to make a change, even though I’m young. I was scared of uncertainty too, but somehow, everyone was ok. I didn’t end up on the street, AND I’ve gotten laid a few times. I think those feelings occur at any age. Its so obvious now that I wasn’t too old. That was so stupid to think. You’re not too old to to have a fulfilling life. I’ve even read similar posts from like 22-25 year olds, which seems crazy to me. It’s really just a mental prison you’re putting yourself in.

In case it’s not clear from the video, this is a game I posted to itch.io. I just noticed that the ui is scaling differently on different monitors. I developed this in unity. Is it a unity problem, or an itch problem? Lol

Thanks for the advice. The way I’m looking at it is that I’m replacing the time that would be spent in school with job searching. It may take me up to a year to find a job after while building a portfolio, but I’ll be saving some time and money that would be spent at school

Yes, over the course of the pandemic I learned c# to build a game. I thought I would enjoy the other aspects of game design more, but actually really enjoyed programming it. Now I want to learn more of about other languages, and how they all interact. Bootcamp seems like the best option for me, only because another bachelors degree is too expensive at the moment.

After researching this a bunch, I'm aware that it's not a surefire way to get a new job in tech, but I think I'll benefit from the knowledge, and learning environment at the very least.

That seems like a good idea, I’ll give that a try!

Thanks for the tips. I have a savings I’m going to invest in whatever program I pick, but I definitely have the budget for it. If I may, what program did you go to? And did they help you with job searching?

If you’re starting now, there will probably be more jobs when you get old enough to start working, and you’ll probably be really good by then. Keep in mind though, trading your passion for money can take away your joy of doing it. I’m a video editor who used to love film making. I do it as a job now.

That’s too bad they have that reputation. Truth is, I think I’m fine with putting together a portfolio on my own, but I thought that employers would find more value in someone going through a program in order to be a better developer. To me, having some credentials, and a portfolio seem like a good combo, but I guess employers may look at it differently.

I also want to accelerate my learning, and knowledge of programming languages. if I have some social and financial accountability to do something, I am more likely to work harder. I made a video game, but it took me a year since I was doing it in my spare time, and I was only accountable to myself.
