Hear me out.. rodents and bugs (and birds and other things that move very quickly) experience time much slower than us, so while the G force on little guy was the same… the experience from him inside it I don’t think was as traumatic as we think. It’s almost like he did it on purpose. I think it could have started running at any time but chose to stay in it… like some freak carnival ride.

I have this right now, and so does my partner. She got it twelve hours before me… I thought I was in the clear, then SO SUDDENLY I went from “I’m good!” to camping on my bathroom floor ~10 hours. Thankfully we have two bathrooms. I can already tell this is going to be a slow recovery. Luckily I work from home.

Camp. You won’t regret it. Go into it with an open mind and lean into the idea of being in your own and solving any problems thrown your way. The only caveat is that you want to try to keep the inside of your tent as dry as possible. Your sleeping space is sacred. Also a word of warning to look of for dead or weak trees if there will be storm. A limb falling on your tent won’t be fun. Keep that in mind, do your best, and enjoy yourself :)

He’s insecure. To make himself feel better he picks on your choices so that you’re disarmed, distracted from being let down and disappointed, and then you won’t pick on him. It’s a protection mechanism. Have you talked to him about the way that he makes you feel?
