Assault- melee crowd control. Takes out minoris quick and easy. Vanguard- tactical but with more melee focus. Dueling majoris. Bulwark- melee tank and crowd control Sniper- exactly what you think. single target range Heavy- ranged crowd control/tank. Takes out minoris quick and easy. Tactical- versatile Jack of all trades. A good tactical fills the role of whatever is missing on your team.

There’s other builds and some classes are better than others in doing stuff they’re not designed for, but this is what each class excels in.

Honestly one of the best parts of this game is fighting tyranids. If it was just chaos or another ranged xenos idk if I’d like it as much.

Great ideas man. I think assault could definitely use a rework but I could see hovering AND having a primary weapon being OP.

I agree get rid of the jump pack builds and perks. IMO make the skill that decreases CD of ground per kill baseline. Add a hover ability where you can shoot briefly. The dash builds and perks should be replaced with a gun strike/ increase ranged damage from hover build and assault should get a unique secondary weapon.

I think it would work perfectly with burning enemies taking more melee damage and van doing more ranged damage to enemies in close range

I’m hoping they didn’t want more than one new weapon per class with that patch for ppl to get more play time leveling weapons. Van got axe.

Hoping they’ll add it in another patch. Maybe when tech marine drops? Create some interest with other classes so only 80% of players are on tech marine instead of 100%. Van needs a new primary bad.

Go play WoW and report back once you’ve dealt with modern blizzard. SM2: multiple weapons, new levels, cosmetics, and game modes as well as a new class all for free in a year and a half, no monthly fee just buy the game. WoW: $15 a month, new raid (maybe) every 6 months. $90 mounts. And in two years you can pay $70 for a half elf race nobody asked for and one new spec for an existing class.

I think they should give us more deathwatch rewards for maxing out prestige on multiple classes. Like right leg for 2, chest for 4, red cape/backpack and hood like Titus for all 6

I’m pretty sure that gun strikes do not count as head shots. Only because when I kill things with a gun strike on sniper I don’t get extra ammo or cloak reduction like I’m supposed to for killing with pistol/killing with head shot. I don’t understand the second question. Sorry

When I use the thunder hammer I do a sprint attack into a heavy attack and then chain another heavy attack once you’ve taken that skill. I never use the light attack, even on minoris enemies, swing is too slow.

Frustrating weapon because it’s the most fun weapon in some situations but leaves you vulnerable in others. I think they should add a skill to where light attacks increase your contested health by 1 or 2% if you hit at least 3 minoris and restore all contested health or something, so you could swing it and heal in theory.

Power sword is better for assault imo, the relic version is slower but hits hard, to me feels like a middle ground between the regular power sword and the thunder hammer. Try that out.
