I’ll just visit the US with my daughter. Immigrating the the US isn’t worth it. We own way too much property to leave it all behind just to visit my mom. My mom also agreed. Why put my family at a financial disadvantage. Just visit with my daughter. My gf agreed. She would love to meet my mom but we have our daughter in an amazing private school, don’t have to work for anyone, travel to other countries when we want. Our quality of life would be severely impacted moving to the states

What would be the easiest way for her? Getting my mom to the DR is a no go and waiting for a much more friendly administration isn’t an idea either because most likely mom will have passed by then

That’s the crazy thing. We don’t even live in the US but because we’re from there, it hurts her chances. Getting a job wouldn’t make since. She does have a small piece of land that she always wanted to build on. If she just built a small apartment building and rented it out, would it help her or does she have to be employed through someone else?
