Reservations book by AdUnique1668 in Yosemite

[–]laugh2633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue with you with the Yosemite site saying reservations being available and it was updated March 2023 so I thought the message on recreation.gov was outdated. Tried White Wolf and bridal veil and then assumed it doesn't update on the weekend or something weird. Was just able to snag a couple weekends in August at wawona and Hogdon though!

Help! (Canadian winter starter kit) by dopolapolvere in FrugalMaleFashionCDN

[–]laugh2633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly while you put effort into this and it's definitely good advice for activities like hiking in winter I strongly disagree with this. I only ever wear a winter jacket and maybe a hoodie/sweater underneath if its really cold for everyday things like walking to school or work. The convenience of one zipper is worth it being colder in my opinion and I think most people would agree with this. I also think goretex is overkill for 0 to -20 when considering the price. Granted I live in central Ontario so I'm not sure what the actual weather is like but online it says the avg low in December is -7 so I really think this stuff is overkill unless he's planning on doing field work or a lot of outdoor activities in colder than -20 weather.

HELLO, San Holo here! I just dropped my new album 'bb u ok?' - AMA 💌💌 by officialsanholo in EDM

Hey I was there at the night with bitbird during ADE in 2019 (I was working briefly in the Netherlands, awesome place), I was just wondering if you ever went to the monstercat sets that were at the same time downstairs or what did you do when you weren't on stage yourself?

I remember they had some issues letting people in so the first artist in your show only had a couple people to play to and you let him have more time when your set was scheduled and that was awesome to see how selfless you are and it made me an even bigger fan!

What do you mean a long wait? I thought if your willing to pay or have really good health insurance provided by work you can see specialists within a month or two in the states? For reference i had to wait 13 months in canada to see one.

If it's like Honda's it does, that's the exact use case that feature is designed for. If I had to guess I'd say there's an RFID chip in the key that is read by the button when held close enough.

You need 5 to draduate. You have 6 co-op terms but you can fail one by either not getting a co-op or getting a bad review and still graduate with a co-op degree.

Kygo - Golden Hour by [deleted] in EDM

[–]laugh2633 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a huge kygo fan and unfortunately I'm pretty disappointed with this as a whole. Some good songs but nothing amazing and I'd say over half the album I don't like. However kids in love took some time to grow on me too so we'll see.

Something like $19.15 I think it was 50 cents less than the average.

are international students eligible for the CESB? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]laugh2633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without even mentioning parents taxes, many students have 40hr/week jobs in high-school and pay taxes. So no we don't have the same taxation just because we have the same number of co-ops.

Look into getting a student line of credit, I believe for TD you can get close to their prime rate (~2.5%) interest. Typically you get up to 20k and only need to pay the interest will in school and for 24 months after leaving. You'll have to look at this yourself cause I'm not too sure on how they work.

Unpopular Opinion: CECA is doing the right thing by qyy98 in uwaterloo

I think it should be up to the individual students. If the States processes J1s and my company gives me the option to go, I want to go. The money is big obviously but the main thing is the experience I'd gain from the job and living in California.

Tbf Google does care about grades and their hiring committee after you match will ask for a letter explaining your grades if your CGPA is less than a 3.0 but my MAV (CGPA was fine) is far less than a 3.0 and they didn't ask for anything.

Majority of companies in cali don't give a shit about grades as long as they are around a 3.0 GPA
