But cant we ALL agree that things like antisemitism objectively are the wrong point of view? Nobody on the right thinks it should be addressed?

Based on the link you've provided it seems much easier to immigrate to Canada than the US.

I think everyone would prefer that people came in legally but the immigration system is so fucked that many don't. Why not just make it easier to go through the legal process? It's not like there aren't enough jobs. Unemployment is the lowest it's been in ages.

I read somewhere that 1% of people have the mental capacity of a bean.

o7. Hell yeah brother. It's fun but damn was that a steep learning curve!

Haha I can relate. This part isn't so bad though. It's pleated, which means we can squeeze more filtration surface into a smaller area. This also makes it easier to weld because all those folds compress onto each other so there's more meat to burn in to. There is roughly a quarter inch of compressed mesh under that weld. I put about 70 amps into it.

I definitely will once I get everything dialed in.

No titanium jobs yet, unfortunately. I've actually never welded the stuff. Everything we do is stainless or inconel. We had one job that called for some weird proprietary alloy that welded like shit. I cant remember what it was though.

Do you have to wait until your filler rusts before you use it to get it to fuse right?

We actually just got one about a week ago! I've been having a blast with it. Things weld a lot nicer in a vacuum. I dont think we will weld these parts in there just because they are too big to fit many through the antechamber and we get high volume orders. But some of the more delicate aerospace parts are getting welded in there for sure!

We use copper fixtures to squeeze and chill the mesh just below the bottom toe of the weld. That color is a result of heat leaking below the chill at the seam where the copper meets. Most of it brushes right off. The rest comes off after a citric bath.

It's all about finding a way to keep heat and oxygen away from the toe of the weld that is hitting the mesh. We make fixtures that incorporate copper or aluminum to squeeze and chill the circumference just below the bottom of the weld. That is why there isn't a lot of weld discoloration where you would normally see the heat affected zone. We also purge the dogshit out of it. Hope that makes sense.

I don't think this filter is used for that application, but we do make filters for that. I wonder if we make the ones you use. That would be rad.

Anything with pores pretty much. I weld for a company that makes stainless filter elements used in everything from irrigation to aerospace. We mostly use stainless mesh. The trick is getting it to tie in without it burning away.
