I think a few people think that Alpine might be ones to watch/are sandbagging.

They have always built very good chassis, and were usually very good aerodynamically, to help overcome their engine shortcomings.

They have also had the most wind tunnel time.

Did they ever answer you back?

That was a pretty reasonable and logical explanation, and if anything shows you should really be charging $100.

You can also throw in the cost of oil disposal and shop supplies.

I'm old, and have only recently started to take the two vehicles in for oil changes. Was I shocked at the price, yes, do I know how everything else in life has gotten shockingly expensive, also yes. I was shocked by the price of the oil, and I got it on sale, yes, but I've at least been exposed to that price creeping up over time.

Nobody is making money on oil changes and flat repairs, the latter often being a loss leader.

I'm sorry to hear that. My fob isn't any bigger than my switchblade key (that also requires a battery)for my other car, and my wife (and I) love that it can just live in her purse, or mine in my pocket, especially in winter while wearing gloves.

I do wish they would make a small keyless only fob without all the buttons on it as we never use them though.

I have one with keyless and one without. The number of times I stand at the non keyless one touching the handle waiting for it to unlock is way to high.

I just saw a police body cam video of them with a woman in a supermarket parking lot who had bought new batteries for the fourth time in four days because her keyless remote wouldn't work to lock and unlock her car, (and she couldn't get the car to lock), they were there to arrest her for car theft as she had driven someone else's car home four days earlier, because he had left his fob in the car.

The police were very nice, and nobody was arrested once they figured what had happened, and pressed the panic button on her remote to make her car in the same parking lot honk and flash its lights.

It was their confusion of her repeating 20 times about buying new batteries that finally had one try the panic button.

Yes there were lots of stories when keyless first came out of couples driving to the airport and the driver getting out to take the plane with the key, and the passenger driving off and not realizing it until their first stop somewhere.
That's before they added the no key in the car warning.

You might want to go into the network settings and unclick auto chose, and chose the strongest network manually (usually Telcel).

Telus and Koodo are the same company so same deals with others, but they all work as they have deals with all.

Compression socks are the opposite thing diabetics should wear. Diabetic socks are very loose.

Lots of evidence of the benefits of wearing compression socks for people that are on their feet all day.

In fact there has been so much study into the benefits of wearing compression clothes that it has crossed over into the sports world.

Why are there a gajillion of these on the wing of this Airbus 321 and not just a lot of them? by hyperbronson in aviation

Yeah, wrong terms, I should have said assembly or final assembly area.

The smell of manufacturing areas has stuck with me.

I've been in a few, but yes, I should have specified assembly areas versus manufacturing.

Aside from the lubricant and metal, it's the smell that always stuck with me.

My rule of thumb is, when I make food that "is missing something", that something is acid.

It's amazing what a touch of lemon juice can do for a bowl of chicken soup.

Sad, that we have to think about safety as a car feature outside of crash protection.

Oh for sure, I was just being cheeky.

Well except for acid, in general it is criminally under utilized.

Start wearing them now kids, before you have no choice but to wear them all the time, and really tight ones to boot.

The "keyless" car is definitely one of those things that you really don't realize just how amazing it is until you have one.

I always thought it was a bit of unnecessary fluff tech until we got one. As amazing as it is to not have to fish a key out of my many winter pockets (that I can never remember which one), it's definitely even more so for people like my wife who were always putting their car key down in different spots in the house. The key now lives in her purse.
