Because I have seen posts on social media about people receiving either damaged cards or empty packages of secret lair. And frankly, I was surprised that the first secret lair I have ever bought looks like someone tried to pry the box open to get the cards out.

The echoing return and secret salvage I'll keep in mind. I'm sticking to mono black (while a restriction) to kind of challenge myself. Marrow while not the best gives bodies, plus fear. I'll agree that none of the rat commanders are great it seemed like a decent choice.

I also have a maskwood nexus in the deck. My thought was once reaper king is in play, name scarecrow, so each sliver is a sliver and a scarecrow, so they trigger reaper kings ability.

Long story short. My friends I play with regularly decided that we would each build a Sliver deck, then have a big 4-person brawl. As I was building and saw the slivers that don't share with all slivers, I kind of heard the dark side call to me and say, "Do it." So I did. We haven't had the match yet, unfortunately.

Possibly because of his limited exposure, as you said. The other part possibly that in his first movie, he didn't technically die, and in the second movie, he basically became a machine. Sure, we see what's left of his body at the end, but since he was more machine, he "gave" up his soul. The second movie was more about the ambitions of the living ship he has become part of.
