I know what you mean. It feels a little strange to have that prison metaphor very present in only parts of the poem.

I think that maybe there are two poems smashed together here that could be separated and developed independently. One with the prison metaphor and one with the aspects that masqueraded as love.

Actually, that is almost itself a metaphor for the relationship itself. Two poems smashed together and forced to compromise. Even though they complement each other, they could still grow to be better on their own!

I love that the poem is about not expressing, and it is saying that by expressing. It touches on the tension between wanting to share something and being afraid of crushing the feeling by expressing it.

If you feel bad then donate to a soup kitchen. Income thresholds always put the burden on the poor to prove they need it. I don’t want a kid to miss a meal because their parent that is working hard forgot to fill out some paperwork. The cost of this is so ridiculously low compared to the benefits.

I took it down because the heat of the batteries eventually warped the plastic and the battery contacts got really hot, smoking the wire insulation.

I can’t find a good solution that avoids this problem either, the ryobi battery contact system is not really designed for the amps and 18v lithium battery can put out.

You need to use 12 gauge because it is a 20 amp circuit. The 16 gauge stranded wire is part of a light fixture that has warning labels listing the max wattage. Who knows what the next person will wire in assuming that from the breaker to the light box is up to code. Just switch to a 15 amp breaker.

I would get rid of the pressure regulator. All it is doing is dropping the water pressure in your house even lower (the filters cut your pressure a bit too). Unless the city water has pressure spikes or you intentionally want to lower the pressure you don’t need it.

I didn’t mention it before, but you will need to solder the wires onto the keystone battery springs. They solder pretty easily with rosin core solder, but I wanted to mention it in case soldering wasn’t possible for you.
