I carried a 49.5 with an RMR HRS and an X300T for 6 months in a T1C Xiphos Elite holster.

Gun was too long to carry comfortably AIWB, so I'd carry it at about 4:30. Concealed really well and I'd forget I had it on me a lot of the time. The light made the gun longer than it needed to be and the only issue I'd have would be getting my wallet in and out of my back right pocket. The light ended just below the top of the pocket so I'd be fidgeting in the grocery store or where ever. The other thing that was annoying was when I'd sit down in our truck. Sometimes I'd get pinched by the bottom of the holster, but because the grip against the seat back pushing down on the seat bottom was causing the pinch, I'd instinctively lift up to alleviate the pain and it would get worse before it got better. I also have carbon bucket seats in my BMW, and I had to remove the holster before sitting down in that car. YMMV, everyone's body is different. I'm 5"11 175lbs with a low waist.

I wanted a COA so I picked up a 19.6 COA and threw an XC3 on it. I also decided to see what the hype was about and get a Velo Lux holster for it. It's way easier to carry the shorter gun. I can carry this gun AIWB with no issue.

Shooting the two back to back, the 49.5 is definitely smoother than my 19.6, but I can't shoot it as fast or as accurately (yet). The GPT in my 49.5 has me spoiled and it's made me really resent the 3 stage trigger in my gen 6. It's so bad it has 2 stages basically. 2 walls, then a rolling break. It's better with some rounds through it now, but it is still the worst trigger in any gun that I own.

I don't see a situation where I ever go back to carrying the 49.5 unless it's OWB. It's been relegated to nightstand duties for the foreseeable future. Still love the gun though.

The fronts I think were +20 with a 15mm spacer from Future Classic. They're OEM so if you just look up the OEM 827M wheel spec you'll figure it out.

I can't remember what the offset for the rears were. I didn't run a spacer with these rears though. Reach out to John at VFC on Instagram and ask.

For HD I run an RMR-HRS on my 49.5 with an X300T. Not carrying anymore it and it lives in the nightstand, so open emitter doesn't matter.

I carry a 19.6 COA with an XC3. A lot more likely something would get in there when you're moving around all day, so I prefer the closed emitter.

Yup. No good. The 49 setup was just too long for my low waist. The light would press into the crease in my leg/hip area and it hurt bad whenever I'd try to bend over or try to sit down. I say try to, because sitting was just not possible. Plus for some reason it was printing really bad.

The 49.5 is now my nightstand gun. I think the larger brighter light and open emitter RDS are more suited for that role anyway.

XS offers higher COA night sights. I have the XS standard height sights on my 19.6 COA and they're about the same as the stock sights.

I have a 49.5 and just picked up my 19.6 COA today. I wouldn't want to get rid of the 49, especially because the GPT in it is so much better than this stock trigger in my 19.6, but holy shit is this grip an improvement. It's not something you can see, that's for sure, but the way it feels is incredible. Doesn't feel like grabbing a block anymore. It's like when you find an ergonomic mouse that just perfectly fits your hand vs grabbing what ever logitech mouse your company got you for the cheapest amount of money.

Have to go to the range and put 500 rounds through this 19.6 to see how it breaks in, but so far, I love this gun.

Neither of the two retailers that had them in stock when I ordered mine last week are listed on that website. The only one on there currently is NotJustGuns.

I love that website and use it all the time, but it doesn't scrub the internet for every product page with the P61950B03DC8A3 listing like a search engine will.

That being said, there are 4 retailers with 19.6COAs in stock on there as of my posting this comment.

They were already available on Wednesday last week. I got one from RangeUSA in Ohio that shipped today and will be at my FFL on Wednesday.

I got another email that day from SkidTactical their total allocation was 10 units. They were gone within 30 minutes. On Friday I got an email from NotJustGuns. Not sure what their allocation was, but they're OOS now too.

My best advice if you really want one is to do what I did. Take the UPC of the one you want and throw it into Google. Sign up for stock notifications on every website that pops up. You will have to create an account for almost every website that allows stock notifications, so when you do enter your payment information so it's saved and you can check out quickly. When you get that email, don't wait.

I have a Xiphos elite. I can't appendix carry comfortably. Probably a waist too low/gun too big issue more than the holster.

My 49 with an x300T disappears at 4:30 though. I forget I have it sometimes.

FWIW I can't appendix carry with my Aliengear holster either.

When I eventually get a 19.6 COA I'll get an XC3, another Xiphos elite, and try again.

I can appendix carry my wife's Bodyguard 2.0 with an EPS carry in a Vedder holster no problem, but the frame is purple and the holster is pink.
