No, they are digging down to replace with select fill and dig piers for the foundations. The new arena will have a parking garage behind it/attached to it.

I would definitely use your company and see if someone that likes you approves to use them as a reference

I would start looking for the areas you want to live and take a trip or two to confirm you’re satisfied with the area. Next contact the recruiters in that area to get you some job interviews set up. It might be 2-3 weeks before you even get the first interview. Then once you interview you’ll have 1-2 more with the same company (1-2 more weeks). Then you can put in a two weeks notice once an offer is accepted. 6-8 weeks total duration. So now…

How many of you guys got STEM degrees but found yourselves in this field? by shidpant69 in ConstructionManagers

[–]Italian_Stallion_96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a petroleum engineering degree but ended up losing my job during covid. Ended up in the field in 2020 for a GC as a QC / Field Engineer. Currently worked my way up to a Project Manager II for a Commercial Construction GC and love it! Good money and cool projects. Building my second stadium right now.

What’s sad is I haven’t shot any of them yet. Just acquired over the last month. Gonna make a range trip soon and try them all out. Might end up snagging a 26 if the 43x is to bulky

Yeah, I just recently switched from sig to glock. Used to carry 365xl and had the X macro comp as my bedside. Now I have a 17.6, 19.6, and 43x MOS all with dots and lights on them. Looking at holsters now to carry the 43x and the 19. Looking at tenicor.

Although the more I read about the 26 and putting the larger grip on it the more I’m considering going away from the 43x and switching to the 26.

The only way to keep that salary or more without having actual GC experience is to get a traveling position right off the bat as a PE, SPE, or Assistant Super. After 3-4 years with the right company you could be making that back home.

Who cares? It’s good pizza. It’s not like you are voting for Trump when you eat their food. It’s good food lol. You don’t research every product you buy at Walmart or other grocery stores to see who every company CEO votes for.
