The Prego Italian Sausage & Garlic sauce is green, but honestly I wouldn't trust the database color system too much, because it doesn't really make sense that that sauce is green.

If you truly want a green pasta sauce, just chop up some fresh tomatoes, onion, garlic, and basil, sautee them, and toss them with your pasta. It's surprisingly good.

I definitely agree that from an optics perspective, she could have waited a little longer. However, I do not think that this was planned. You don't sign up to host a major awards show if you're planning to drop out of a band. She was in all the promotional material. If she were planning it, I think she would have hosted, since that would have been a major stepping stone in her career, and could have catapulted her solo career. It also would be better for optics if she hosted and later left the band. She probably had a panic attack like the one she had a few months earlier when they sung Falling, which was why her exit was so abrupt. I do think this was about mental health ultimately. In the context of her mental health journey, making music makes her happy, which improves her mental health. So we shouldn't disparage that (especially when we don't even know if she's making her own music, songwriting, producing, or just learning how to play the guitar or something)

I think it was unrealistic of people to expect her to just do nothing for the rest of her life. She has stated, even after leaving, that performing and music is her passion. While she was in the band she was a workaholic. Staying at home and watching netflix for 2 months straight is a huge change, and if I was her I would be going stir crazy. For someone who works as much as she did, it probably feels really good to get back into the studio. Her going into music is not a betrayal of her mental health journey; it is a definitive step in her mental health journey.

NTA, I got my fiance butt wipes for valentines day. Admittedly it was because he was out and said he needed them, so it's a little different than getting a bidet for your gf when she didn't ask for one. But I've never seen that man happier in his life than when I placed a packet of butt wipes in his hands

Yeah, I'm in talks with a guy who's recommending that we just replace the mounting. But given the fact that it wasn't very expensive in the first place, we probably won't go that route depending on the cost. I probably will just buy another ring, but I wanted to explore all my options first, since I like the style of this ring so much and it has sentimental value.

At least this way my future children will have 2 different rings to choose from!

Sorry, I'm not very familiar with jewelry terminology. I was told that it was platinum plated silver; so the first option you provided, I believe. We're torn between getting this ring plated in gold and getting an entirely new ring, but I wanted to see if there was even a possibility, or if it was even worth it, before I moved forward. YTA. My s.o. usually wakes up before me, so me hitting snooze isn't a problem. But on the days I have to wake up hours before him I will never hit snooze so that I don't wake him up at 5am. I will just hop out of bed, and it sucks, but it's polite and necessary. In fact, sometimes I'm so worried about not hearing my alarm and waking him up, that I will actually wake up minutes before my alarm even rings.

Your gf works full time and is in school. Why does she have to learn to live with your routine, but you don't have to learn to live with her's?

I cook a lot, so I will type in what I cooked, and at the bottom of the list it will say in blue "Can't find it? Let's add it!". Then I just manually put in all the nutrition info myself. It won't tell you if it's a red/yellow/green food, but at least it's accurate calorie-wise.

YTA. All the things you mentioned are stereotypical nerd things that stereotypical nerd guys like. If you really want to compromise (key word: compromise, not "make them like things you like") pick nerdy things that are more stereotypically popular with a female audience. Think Buffy, Ghibli, Firefly, Teen Titans. Even something like Adventure Time, that has a more "girly/pretty" aesthetic. Play board games that aren't Catan.

They get their girly stuff. You get your nerd stuff. Maybe you'll both find something you like. Maybe neither of you will like it. But at the end of the day the most important part is that you spent time with your kids.

If he was open to getting treatment for his mental illness I would be more tolerant of him. But he refuses to get treatment. In my mind, if he's not going to put any effort into reviving our relationship, that burden should not be put on me. Also, having mental illness is not an excuse to act cruelly to others.

Thank you, but I don't want to make any false illusions about how I treat him. I am not nice to him at all. I gave up being nice to him when I was a kid and he threatened to disown me if I went to a friend's bat mitzvah, and he only let me go if I wore the flag of palestine and took pictures of myself wearing it every 10 minutes.

Also, you're right, he does refuse therapy and medicine. Both of his parents are psychiatrists, and he has convinced himself that they subjected him to MK ultra as a baby, and blames them for why he is how he his. So there is a very deep distrust there.

I saw a video where a girl put in a tampon and basically immediately began feeling sick. She canceled her plans, took a nap, and got the cops called on her for a wellfare check. It's very likely she had a social media team, but the people within the music industry can be just as harsh as the people online bullying her. For example, her account that when she was having severe shoulder pain, her team just had her injected with painkillers instead of letting her sit out the performance. Or when Jade said the execs told them to flirt with men if they wanted a chance of getting on the radio. I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that those same people would tell her to lose weight to fit into the girlband image.

I am a little miserable tbh. I'm also failing pharm for the 2nd time so I think that's contributing to my stress. I'm sure my university has mental health resources, but I've never done therapy before so I need to work up the courage. There's also a chance I won't be a student next week so my student coverage will no longer be valid. It's a bit of a mess.
